Cyrodiil :(

Please devs, what can be done about Cyrodiil? I like to do a bit of PvP, but it's somewhat spoiled by the fact that if I'm anywhere near a fight that has more than 20 people in the area, everything freezes and I get kicked. Constantly. Load back in, get kicked. Over and over. "Must have a valid internet connection". Yep, that old chestnut. Sometimes I load back in dead, sometimes alive. So I can't participate in anything more than minor skirmishes, and therefore miss out on a lot of AP. It also takes the fun out of it, of course. I would love to join in sieges again, but atm I can't even take resources. Furthermore, this has gotten worse with each DLC.

I am in Australia and I play on EU server in either Thornblade or Azura's; I have a top of the range router and good modem with a wired connection but my internet is only ADSL2 because there is no other option for me.

Although I do love IC....I'd love to see some day light every now and then during prime time

I know how you feel. Been doing this to me also. But don't loose hope! Been reading that there's hardly any problems after the new patch for PC. I can't wait until we get the update for us on August 16. Here's hoping Cyrodiil be better for us.

It is the same on PS4 NA in Australia. I don't do a lot of PVP and going into Cyrodiil for the first time in months on the weekend, the lag during fights meant that I was often killed before I could even see who had attacked me (even though I had not been killed by a one shot).

Even in an empty IC the lag is crazy. It getting worse and worse, even the npc lag nowadays.

Update: pretty good night, last night, in PvP - successfully defended a Keep and participated in a couple of large-scale battles without getting kicked during! Sure, there was lag, and I did get disconnected 2-3 times but that was way better than the past few months. And that's without the patch hitting console yet...

Here's hoping.

Trying my hand at PVP now and spent some time in Cyrodiil over the weekend. Noticed a huge difference between afternoon and evening sessions (Australian time) on PS4 NA.

Huge lag and constant dropouts when large fights were going before and around new writ and pledge times - 4pm Sunday AET which I think is 2am Sunday US EDT (based on ESOs 6am maintenance times being 8pm my time).

Come 8pm my time (6am US EDT), huge fights with 30/40 plus participants and while I had a little lag here and there I did not drop out once. It was quite a fun night.
