Yes they do, but flooding the forums with the same complaint won't change anything. They're not blind; they know of the issue. If they WERE blind these forums would not be a thing lol

Anyway if anyone happens to recall they DID mention a fix for DB issues coming with SotH. So, wait a week and see what happens. Just one week...

I have no issues asidefrom minor fps issues right after loading... Have you tried upgradimg past a potato?

I am on console (PS4) and actually made a ticket about the loadscreens. I was told thay I should connect my PS4 directly to my router and also change a bunch of settings on my internet thru a PC. The answer was very detailed. I dont know if it would work coz I didnt bother to do it as I dont own a functional PC(and bcoz I doubt the issue is on my side of the table as I run a 300mb connection)
A post answer from a ZOS emplye said that if you had too many quests in your log it could have an impact on the issue. So by abandoning quests your not on would supposedly fix some of it, also in same post they said they were working on it.

I don't get loading screens randomly in zones, My FPS is reasonably consistent although it does drop in busy areas.

I get black characters if I load into one of the capitals, but even then, I just stand still for a minute or so, and it goes away.

Definitely remove any undaunted pledges from your quest list and any incomplete trial or dungeon quests. If you can, make sure you have mages and fighters guild quests complete, and do harborage quests as and when they pop to get them out of your log ASAP.

I just wonder have you check that your computer is up to requirements of the game for both me and my gf have basically the same issues you have but after i did some investigate work i found out that ESO requirements have change alot so since the release of game so after we purchase 2 new computer we dont have any issues that you are talk about.

You can have 10,000 threads on this and it's only indicative that there is a MAJOR problem that is absolutely intolerable!

Each DLC there are bugs and problems. That is to be expected with any game as it's code based and code can be unpredictable with some unforeseeable reactions. Any gamer has to come to expect and accept that. The problem with games that die, with loss of huge number of players, is when the developing team spends more time creating new material to create sales, and less time fixing current problems. I was never worried about ESO too much, because give it a couple weeks and most priority problems tend to get fixed. But honestly Dark Brotherhood has been an embarrassment, and I honestly think as a company, they should feel a wee bit embarrassed. It’s been a couple months now and SotH is launching next week, yet the major problems with DB have not been touched. We were already told fixes were coming and they didn’t; each patch, no difference. You know that SotH is going to have it’s own bugs. So expecting it will not is unrealistic. Every DLC has problems. So now with SotH we will have whatever problems that causes, on top of all the major DB problems that have so far not been fixed! That there is cause for concern!

An example of the effect its having on player base: Our PS4 guild is a smallish guild of long time friends, players that met in other games over time, and who all migrated to ESO when DCUO went this exact same route… now as a group we are totally dead. Yesterday we sent out a message asking how many would want to return, and no one was interested. Most had memberships, and cancelled them when they left. They are mostly all in Neverwinter now. If that’s happening with one group, you can be sure it’s happening with many.

I myself have been deep in thought on cancelling ESO+ myself and saying goodbye to the game until its properly fixed, because it’s just not playable the way it is. Walk ten paces loading screen, followed by maybe two more… and even then the environment hasn’t loaded. You log into places where there maybe roaming enemy adds, and your character is being attacked by invisible enemies. The Dungeon finder is still broken. These are all major problems that should have had fixes as a priority to the game. It is only because of these intolerable problems that after two months have caused people to cancel memberships and stop playing. Especially when new games such as Neverwinter have come out on console.

Troll the OP all you want, but he is totally correct. Zenimax need to stop making new content for just a little while and actually fix the game. We came here from DCUO, which did the same thing and lost an entire community. We would log on and the watchtower that had once been full to the brim with a community of players, had become a ghost town because of the exact same practice.

I love this game, as we all do. I just hope that Zenimax can switch strategies, because the current one is not working, and with a bit more time with no change to strategy, will risk losing more and more of their loyal player base.

P.S. not everyone is on PC... consoles have no ability to change things like graphics

Given the amount of complaint threads it took them to not make Khajiit the indisputable Master Stamina Race, while they ignored pretty much all other feedback on the still very imbalanced racial passives, I think that making countless threads about something is the only way to get them to even consider fixing something.

If there is a general issue with the game then they will know about it from the first moment it is reported, be it from in-game reporting or from these forums, usually the latter However, there is no such thing as an instafix button. Them knowing about it and them fixing it is 2 different phases and the 2nd phase, depending on the issue, is never as quick and easy to complete whereas the 1st phase is as simple as someone telling them/complaining about it. In this issue's case they DID say the fixes for console issues would go live with Shadow of the Hist and they cannot do it any sooner because unlike PC they don't have free reign over what changes go live as they see fit.

You're absolutely correct, it is a platform issue. Thanks for all the kind replies about upgrading but it's on Zenimax for the stability of console gaming. Edited op for server/platform

They've improved, though. PvP-lag is less present, I no longer have 10 FPS fighting 3 enemies & I no longer get the intense loading screens in Deshaan/Grahtwood, which I used to have.

I'm gonna agree, the state of the game is not GREAT, but it's better recently. This comes from a laptop user, btw. So it's not 'cause my PC is high-end or something, roflmao.
