Group Dungeons - No Longer Feature Normal and Vet Storylines?

I noticed the newer group dungeons no longer feature unique stories for normal mode and vet mode. Rather it is the same quest that is either run at the choosen difficulty.

Is this actually the case or am I missing something somewhere? I know all the dungeons from launch feature two quests (usually the vet quest being a continuation of where "normal" left off).

I thank you for your response, but I'm not sure if my question has been answered. I don't understand.

its the same dungeon and same mobs, so cant see reason for 2 different story?

We seriously need that "old way" when creating veteran version from a normal dungeon. Any other ways are... just odd.

in a nutshell it is just less work for devs to do, with the added effect of making it harder just be giving bosses stupid amounts of health in vet mode

but it used to be with the vet storyline from the same dungeon it would expand on the story from the normal version...made it more interesting to do

This is definitely a loss - the new stories and twists for the vet versions were fantastic. I guess I understand from an efficiency point of view why but still it is something less than it could be. I am hoping still for Vet versions of some of the other older dungeons.
Celebrate for life is short but sweet for certain.

You are mostly correct. None of the new dungeons have separate Normal and Veteran stories. Veteran is just a harder version of the same story. There are currently only eight of the sixteen launch dungeons with a separate Veteran story (the other eight don't have a Veteran version at all).

So then I haven't "missed" something. Indeed the newer dungeons only feature one quest. Is this the way it will be going forward?

We don't know, but I hope that more dungeons will recieve separate Veteran storylines in the future.

Yeah, that's my biggest disappointment at the new dungeons. I liked the way the old ones were set up with the different stories.
