Gap Closer Exploit in Sewers

Some Ad Players on PS4 using crit rush to gain access to covenant entrance platform and camping entrance.
Made in game tickets and took plenty of screen shots as well, but I figured I would share it here too.

Why even allow this to potentially happen? Players stealth camping your sewer exit? Little bit of a nuisance, seems lame. And definitely an exploit.

Shouldn't be too hard to fix, the same thing was happening with the district platforms on PTS and they managed to stop it entirely.

this has been happening this entire patch, they attempted to fix the gap closer as it would always bug and not work. but no its allowing you to gap close almost anywhere if elevated.

Here I am 1vXing 500K+ AP in the Sewers of Haderus, while cheaters exploit broken gapclosers to gank in a very unfair way.

Which server is this on? I will go over there to record of video of me clearing them out. Not kidding.

I'm usually in the AD section of the Sewers. I never knew that they were ganking us at our base entrance!

We have no bars in the population screen. That's sad AND boring. Ugh -_-

Gap closer capability is disabled at main entrance room. How r they able to fire it off?

Zenimax REALLY needs to patrol Cyrodiil and Imperial City and catch these people in the act. That would scare people into not exploiting FAR more than simply a player reporting them would. Just dealt with over half a dozen EPs keep jumping with various gap closers in Azura's Star at Castle Alessia, no doubt because they were sore their alliance with DC failed to take the keep from us in AD. We beat them down for it at every turn despite how much they were able to push through for doing it, but still...

So I feel ya OP, it's downright pathetic is what it is. And they know it too, which means they're desperate.

Happens on Haderus too. Same two people jump up on the same keep during the same siege 10+ times. I refuse to believe that it's not a friend of theirs helping them up. Noone is that daft.

cheat engine takes priority sadly, and ZoS cant seem to put an end to it........i have sent countless video links of....well....lets just say its pretty obvious they are using cheat engine...and all i get is a canned response about putting the people on my ignore list after i report them so i dont have to interact with them anymore....REALLY?

Best to accept that cheaters win. End of story. Dont expect anything to be done. ESO owned me for a long time and i always talked it up to my friends, now that they are actually interested (2 years later of watching me play) i just tell friends to avoid it cuz of the rampant cheating and exploiting people do daily and they dont get in trouble.

Some days i wonder why i log in anymore lol

I didn't know you could use cheat engines on console. They must be running it from an external hard drive. I've seen several people using macros on console which is cheating and of course gap closure.. But that's about it.

You can't. OGLizard, to put it simply, believes in PC Master Race is all, but it's a myth.

I don't deny CE as a problem but exploits can be just as bad.

It must be an exploit, because as LegacyDM said, all gap closers should be disabled in that area (it's a debuff called "Range Suppression" or something, you can see it in Active Effects).

What i do is i get a bunch of friends and we gang the *** out of the guy using cheat engine. I dont bother reporting cos ZOS wont do anything about it.
