Why can't we dye Mannimarco's costume?

Seems the rest can be dyed, why not this one?

    I think its a bug, I think they will fix it so we can in the future.

    Someone told me that they had said in eso live that some costumes would not be dyeable

    Well, so far the only costume that is undyeable is Mannimarco which I hope they will fix.

    I only heard that it was the Mannimarco costume.. seems weird though.. At first I thought it was because he was a character, but then I remembered that we also have Abnur Tharn's costume, which dyes fine

    It was once dyeable on PTS - I dyed it purple! Sooner or later, I dye everything purple! :D

    Cannot dye costumes that you can equip - only the ones in your collection.

    Will they also allow the equipped costumes to be dyed too?

    you can dye it using the console ui

    If you equip 1 of the costume hats with manimarco and use the dye all option you can dye it atm.

    Which hats? I tried the Vosh Rak one and it didn't work, sadly.

    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Nope, guilty here too. That and the new Dark Green you get from finishing all the poison ingredient attributes. :-)

    If it is the case it is undyeable there should be a crown refund.

    I have a weird mannimarco bug; when I put on the costume the headband thingie is showing up now even though I have "hide helmet".

He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Me 2...I would ask them to check out every aspect of the costume, but then we'd get a horrendous version for the female. Like small male wood elf from Oblivion horrendous.

    And it still wouldn't be dye-able.

    I'm not skeptical. Really.

    Thanks @Thornen for the tip, this worked with Cadwell's Helm. It only colors the chestpiece, gloves, and shoes though, not the robe, sleeves, circlet or inlaid gems. Hope when the costume can be properly dyed these will color.

    Works on PS4 NA, it looks dope as F with all black/red highlights. My vamp loves it.
