Friendly in that your entire group put me on ignore then harassed me until I had to ignore your entire group?

There's nothing really impressive about beating an open world build with 1100 regen on azuras by out-sustaining me using engine and a set that has had multiple threads started claiming how broken it is, especially on a no-cp campaign.

I gave you a 1v1 anyway because at first I thought you were a reasonable person. Clearly you are just salty because you failed you 4v1 me just a few minutes prior. I recommend a little more maturity for you, and a little more awareness to those select few who feel like commenting in this thread.

They definitely weren't in TS together or on each other's friends list or in the same guild, either. Definitely.

To the video, it's an decent fight. It's a common older setup for stamDK before more options were given to them. There's room for improvement in it but I'm going to stay out of it. Nice job on the win.

I don't know who this Firerock guy is but he seems to know what he is talking about

. I'll admit a certain satisfaction in posting a 1vs1 I had with someone who called me a no name scrub as well as telling me to go find a build then refusing to 1vs1 me just a week earlier. Again though I don't use black rose but nice try. In general though I thought it was a nice duel and wanted to share with the community.

No, I'm actually serious. I theorycraft with stamplar builds a lot and if he is interested I would totally be willing to share. I wouldn't post stuff like that on these forums, I don't go down to that level.

How would you feel though if your friend wants to try something new and post his dueling videos to the forums and in the very first thread in which he tries this new endeavor he is called immature and its implied that he ganks other players and that he sucks? All of that is untrue, its hateful lies.

What is true is that I do have an attack dog mentality. I will defend my pack against all the hate that comes our way. He came in here trying to make my friend look bad. Would you not try to protect your friends? BTW I never tried to turn this thread into an attack thread because it isn't. Check my reply to Jabs, I urge him and all that have read it to bring this thread back to the video and not add any unnecessary drama. I don't want this to be derailed. You people are turning this into something its not. It's hurtful.

I'm always open to constructive criticism so feel free to tell me what you think I could improve on.

Sure I can shoot out a couple quick suggestions off the top of my head. I'll go general with comments and not address fighting a stamplar specifically unless you specifically made your build for that fight, which I don't think you did. Add in reverb bash, in this fight using that would force Jabs to use purifying until he ran out of magic. 2h dizzying swing is situational, just so happens it works against a slowed down jabs user. It does not work well against a stamblade or a fast moving target that walks through you to interrupt it. When you create a little gap, use stampede to apply a snare if you want to keep 2h as your DPS, else heroic slash provides a nice snare as well that will force him to use shuffle and burn more stamina. The DK dots are really good and I would use those for duels but your bar seems more like an open world bar to me. In Azuras, you have the deck stacked in your favor with battle roar and engine guardian for the sustained battle. I saw another commenter post on you not using your dawnbreaker, I saw you favoring your corrosive for your DPS, it does allow you spam dizzying without having to worry about your defense much - I would give you some advanced knowledge points for that one. I would say this fight setup would be yours to lose from a balancing perspective but you did well despite that fact.

Yeah I might add reverb onto my bar. I don't like using any other cc other than fossilize because it gives me 5% of my stam back/minor brut plus just being a great cc in general because it goes through block and snares afterwards allowing me to wrecking blow easily. I've found dawnbreaker to be rather unreliable for various reasons and mainly just use it for the 5% wep dmg.

At the end of the video he gets wb'd then executed twice then dies. I don't use macros if that is what you are insinuating. Anyone who has pvped recently knows that if you die fast you sometimes just plop dead on the ground.

Idk about you but lying about it is more egregious than the initial act of attempted deception tbh. A simple "yeah' he's my friend" instead of doubling down on a lie would've helped his cause. Not only did he insult the intelligence of the community by pulling some transparent posturing bs via a friend, he then tried to deny it when it was transparent af--pages later (when -Jabs replied) and it became obvious to all that I was right about Firerock being his buddy. The fact that the whole thing wasn't apparent to all within the first 2 posts makes me concerned about the lack of critical thinking skills within our community.

Not only did he insult the intelligence of the community by pulling some transparent posturing bs via a friend, he then tried to deny it when it was transparent af--pages later (when -Jabs replied) and it became obvious to all that I was right about Firerock being his buddy. The fact that the whole thing wasn't apparent to all within the first 2 posts makes me concerned about the lack of critical thinking skills within our community.

I was around try harding pre-1.6, you had your chance at me being competitive then. Not my fault you came to be competitive in a game when all the competition has left.
