    Oh god not this again...

This is all in your head. lol There is no functional advantage to either side. Ride out there and fight, or don't. Up to you.

Plus what do you want ZOS to do? Move the towns? They're just rolling the capture system out. In no time, we'll have more flags in more places. Stop whining.

As someone who is concerned more about objectives, I see it the other way around. The towns are a disadvantage to AD from a map control POV because two give other factions an opportunity to spawn close to AD's inner keeps.

Cropsford is not in AD territory. Anything east of the Niben is EP. It's farther away from EP keeps than Vlastarus and Bruma, yes, but still inside EP territory.

I'd rather have Cropsford than Vlastarus, though. If DC or EP get Vlast it's easy to spawn a raid and hit AD home keeps quickly, and if we wipe and the Town isn't flagged we don't need a Forward Camp.
I'm a man of few words. Any questions?

LOL if the two towns were so easy for AD to hold, then why have they been held almost exclusively by DC and EP in the TF campaign. If anything they're a disadvantage for AD, since the towns provide an easy jumping off point for EP and DC to take AD's keeps.

I feel like it's a concern for AD more than a boon. If no one is watching Vlastarus and 3 EP stealth down there to cap the flags simultaneously they can then instantly spawn a Zerg there from bloodporting and wreak havoc in AD territory. Cropsford may be across the river but there are three bridges to AD territory, not just the one that everyone fights on. So it's something to keep in mind.

I disagree. Capping a town gives you plenty of advanced warning that there are enemies in your territory before any potential wreaking of havoc might happen. A DC zerg who simply rode there from their nearest keep is a much bigger threat because the first sign of their presence will be a burning keep with 20/20 siege on it.

If anything I think DC has an advantage, Bruma is so close to Dragonclaw that it is easy to use it as a a respawning point when DC is attacked.

I think it's more of a problem for AD having enemies respawn closer . Feel free to convince the Devs to put them near your faction instead .

I'm DC and I see these towns as a strategic ADVANTAGE. I agree that both of those towns offer a back-door to AD keeps for the other factions and function as a boundary-less forward camp for the other two factions if they control these towns.

I still don't see what "strategic advantage" controlling towns have if all you can do is respawn there.... Like yea sure their is blood porting but if you need to blood port there to go to a keep you might as well just stop playing pvp.

Cropsford isn't really a negative for AD. It is too close to Drake to make it worth bloodporting to.

Ad has an advantage because they get to farm in Bruma, which is the coolest town by far.

Every alliance has one in their territory, their territory being defined by the impassable walls between home keeps. There is the mountain range south of Ash which are only passable by the milegates, there is the mountain range west of Chalman, again only passable by milegates, and then there is the river east of Alessia, passable only by the bridges. Thus AD has Vlastarus, DC has Bruma, and EP has Cropsford.

Additionally, it should be noted that capturable towns are more of a strategic burden to AD than a boon. The other factions can blood port categorically closer to AD keeps by capturing towns than AD can blood port to EP or DC. This provides a very slight but perceptible strategic advantage to anyone clever enough to utilize it. Of course, on PC NA TF the AD can handle it just fine, but it's still something to watch out for.

didn't you know that all castles around imperial city are actually called 'Dominion Ring'?

Seriously now: screen map and turn it around+add impassable walls and you'll see that you're wrong.
