Nice, this is what I am building towards.

I recently made a Magcika Nightblade to try this bombing thing out. Although I haven't tried it much in Imperil City, in Cyrodiil I seem to find people don't die from the initial burst. I know that sometimes it’s because the groups happen to split away from each other in the last second, but other than that, the people I run into seem to be more tanky than the ones in your video.

    I am running:
    - Duel wield/Resto.
    • 5 Piece Clever Alchemist.
    • 1 Piece Kena.
    • 1 Piece blood spawn.
    • 5 Piece Vicious Death.
All infused/divines + max magcika enchants, Gold, and spell damage enchants on jewellery.

I use InnerLight to Empower the SoulTether and fire that off at the same time as the ProxyDet, but sometimes I barely scratch people. I think I have around 4400 buffed spell damage and 33k max magcika.
Any suggestions? I use sap essence a well, but after the initial burst.
My ping is higher than your resource recovery...

Drop the kena and bloodspawn, go 5 Alchemist 5 Vicious Death 3 will power.

The problem you are having isn't with spell damage but with your max magicka. As you can see in the video I'm pushing 44K Max Magicka and around 4.4K Spell damage without weapon enchant 4.8K with weapon enchant. I recently changed to high elf but even with imperial I was getting 40.6K Max magicka with the same spell damage.

    Great steal and video.

But there is one thing I don't like.
Don't get me wrong Sypher but you shouldn't use shadow image to port back on to different floor levels or unreachable spots for opponents. It wasn't a problem in this situation but in general it's a question of fair play.

Cheers for the info, I will swap in willpower. I can imagine that max magcika makes a bug difference. Do you have this build on your website? Was going to look over skills and mundus stone.

Fair play? The skill was designed that way and is meant to be used that way. I'm not sure I understand why you consider this malicious in any way.

It's a difference to disappear by shadow image mechanics that are intentional or exploiting terrain ignorance by shadow image bugs.

The problem is not the design the problem are bugs with impact to several skills like shadow image.
Devs didn't expect side effects with terrain ignorance when designing the skills.

You might don't see the similarities but we are actually talking about the same cause we have on gap closers.
Terrain ignorance is a serious problem in ESO and I thought you aware of this that's why my "fair play" statement.
However, it was not my intention to blame players , I apologize if it came across that way.

You're legit able to get up onthe places by claiming or spawning. So you're allowed to put down a shade. So you're allowed to teleport back...

Those places in IC aren't exploits. Unless you gap close to get up, you're not exploiting anything.

Now you really walk on thin ice.

If you seriously think that porting into a safe zone during combat is ok while there is no way for your opponents to reach this area, then your understanding of competitive PvP and fair play is totally out of control.

The reason why the game shouldn't let you port back up to the safe spot of your faction is the idea of being silenced in a safe zone. So it shouldn't allow you to cast anything and this includes shadow image.

How about fixing bugs instead forcing players to argue of what is right or wrong?

These are the builds I hate. Not because they're cheap, or there's anything wrong with them, but I hate them. However, I now always keep my block up when I'm standing still because I know they're out there.

If you have detect potions on you its not as terrible. IC you gotta watch for them putting up Magic Det then going into cloak, open world Cyrodiil they are a little easier to spot since they can't do their set up in blind spots. Then if you get hit with their ult, it's all about mitigation and survival then.

I have also seen the Shade used like that for defending keeps. I saw her load up on her buffs, put on Magic Det, teleport strike into the enemy cluster, bomb+some damage, teleport back into the keep to heal and buff. It's pretty fun watching these MagBlades do that strat. It's smart too, cause if you can get the teleport back inside the keep you're pretty much guaranteed safe. Honestly wish more MagBlades did that. Might have to go look into leveling up my MagBlade High Elf so I can play around with it more.

Because the build counters the people who lagg out the servers. I love this build and similar builds.

So is it not fair when a magicka sorc streaks from one rock to another and that other rock just so happens to be a place unreachable by other classes?
