Terrible trial sets drop rate

I'm starting to lose interest in doing trials due to the fact that I've spent so much time and effort trying to get the Infallible Aether set yet I've been somewhat unsuccessful. Most of the time I keep getting junk items that I don't need nor want. Due to the lack of intelligence that this game has it cannot tell the difference in what my class is, and therefor as a DPS sorc this game keeps giving me items that are completely unrelated to what I play. What's worse is that I can't even put these unrelated items up for sale on any of my trading guilds due to the fact that it becomes bounded to my character after an hour after completing the trial.

Do remember that for trials the drop chances are roughly like this:

Normal mode: 80% BoE / 20% BoP
Veteran mode: 20% BoE / 80% BoP

So if you want a BoP set, you're better off doing the veteran versions.

With the BoP trading system, in a veteran trial, Infallible Aether should be completable in a few runs Vet AA, if your team is willing to share of course.

Big part of end game in MMOs are the grind for that BiS gear. I do agree that the droprate could be better or atleast ditch traits like prosperous, training, reinforced or maybe more from trials and vet dungeons. This was proposed in a poll made by ZoS, atleast to remove prosp+training and add impen. If thoose traits was removed from endgame content the rate of obtaining the gear would already improve alot.

When it comes to only getting gear that matches ur class I disagree since all classes can fit all roles.

I'm at well over 100 runs in normal trials and have yet to get the second Divines VO piece I'm looking for (and the first one I got, I bought it from someone else... Good trading system), yet I could trade a gold necklace with a VO one on the first run.

Getting a trial guild or just having the right contacts (just run normal trials and ask around) will definitely get you a spot in a vet one, assuming you can pull your own weight.

Regarding traits for the trial gear: they don't drop in prosp and training do they? I have yet to get these traits on the the 12-player trial stuff but I might be wrong here....

Yeah and I still need all the VO jewelry.... got 3 pcs in divines though
