I surely cannot be the only person who ISNT experiencing these random loading screens, wrothgar crashing, bugs. invisible enemies etc? (ps4 EU)
Dungeon finder? Doing the daily random for the xp as a DPS and I get a group literally within a minute!
What on Earth are some people here moaning about?
Maybe because its such a norm that people DON'T disconnect that nobody mentions how fine their connection is. But when the minority with unstable connections make a noise it looks like the whole console population cant get 30 mins without DCing hahah thats definitely not the case for me and my friends.
I personally think its down to the individuals internet connection and not the game itself as like I said these bugs are all a myth to me.
The only time the game is a bit tough is huge numbers in the same place in PVP but ZOS have addressed that its the animations and effects of all the abilities being in one screen and claimed they're working on it. Just a little patience wont hurt, I've even seen people claiming ZOS are doing it on purpose? haha ridiculous.
What is your console experience like and please state your server and console and xbox/ps4 are obviously 2 different platforms...

A working group finder would be nice.

Number_51✭✭✭✭✭Crashing/dashboarding is much more common on XB1, but the state of the game on PS4 (which is what I play on) is still absolutely appalling. I crash maybe once or twice a week, but 4 load screens between a public dungeon and the nearest wayshrine (200 yards maybe) is unacceptable. And that goes double for invisible enemies that kill you when you do get a load screen. ZOS owes me $1000s in repairs and soul gems for all the deaths that I've had during load screens or from invisible enemies. The only infinite load screen I've seen is in CoH. Framerate in populated PVE areas is ass too.
I've been a huge defender of ESO. I absolutely love the game they've made for us when it works. I've invested $100s in ESO+ and Crown Store items. And if this game wasn't an Elder Scrolls title, I'd have been long gone by now.1 -

✭✭Cyrodil is much better now but PVE Zones are suffering, strange thing is that my few characters are facing much more loading screens than others.
With 2 characters i am hardly getting loading screen..

Wrothgar is fine for me.
Occasionally with large zergs and lots of abilities being spammed I get stuttering in PVP.
Enemies right after loading into an area might be invisible for 5-10 seconds so I try not to run forward too fast.
NPCs and quest markers do take some time to appear in game and on the map so I have to pause a minute and give it a chance.
No real crashing issues though.
If I run forward from the Hews Bane wayshrine I might get a loading screen as I run to the thieves den.
I'm not convinced this is the games fault entirely, maybe a combination of prime time server usage and my internet.
I do not think the xbox players' problem of not being able to load their character if they were in wrothgar is the same as my problems. That sounds like its all the games fault.The Dr found that his stars had decayed. Why didn't he keep them in the fridge? lol

✭It changes for me day to day. Sometimes I can play a few hours with no issues, other times I get constant load screens and get kicked to dashboard every 5-10 minutes. It's not my connection because I have extensively tested it and other games and ESO is literally the only game I have issues with right now. It's frustrating because I like playing ESO the most. PS4 NA.
Just because you are not experiencing issues doesn't mean they don't exist. Also, there is no need to insult the people experiencing these issues, I am positive if you were unable to play the game due to constant load screens and being kicked to dashboard you would be just as upset.1 -

Yea, should have mentioned that in my post too. I have a wide range of characters at lots of different levels. It seems like the more content you have completed with a character, the worse the issues are. My CP501, 6 craft 9 trait crafter, that has completed every quest in 12 zones, Coldharbor, Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, and Gold Coast is the one that gets a load screen every 5 to 10 steps. Of course the game isnt perfect and the occasional few extra seconds load are bearable but thankfully im not the only person who's having a good time on ps4 haha0 -
DurzoBlint13✭✭✭✭what time of day are you on? What server? I only notice major issues when on during Prime Time. Although I do get load screens at any time. I think the EU server does not have nearly the population that NA does (ps4), but I do not know the exact numbers.0 -

✭✭100mbs internet and I can play in the pop locked campaign no problems.
If you have less then 50mbs, stay out of primetime, it's that simple.

✭✭✭✭✭On PS4 as long as I do not group up all is fine as far as loading screens and disconnects even in Cyrodiil.
The moment I group up which is the norm in PvP with my guild I get loading screens and the occasional disconnect,
usually when engaging DC more than AD strangely enough.
Group size doesn't seem to make a difference, just being grouped with 8 causes problems.

✭Around two or three months ago, I had a problem where I would get booted upon logging in back to the opening screen of the game. It was a '303 error,' and as it turned out the 'obscure' trick to fixing it was deleting the save files (online/offline) the game. That was what kind of made me decide to take a long break from the game. Upon coming back, one of the first dungeons I tried to run was Crypt of Hearts. 2 minutes into the dungeon, our group got a load screen and we all returned dead. There were also sets of invisible monsters. CoHs is probably a particularly problematic dungeon, but it left a bad first (new) impression. I haven't had the courage to step food back in PvP. I hear my friends say the lag is unbearable and now it's zerg or die. My reasons for not returning are not related to performance issues per say. I'm bothered by the stamina meta, since the 4 characters I loved to play most were all magicka types.0 -

Myself and most players delete that file once a week. I never had any problems but it seems to cut down load screen times.
When DB dropped they changed the whole game, after conversion to CP ranks mobs would take extra long to load. They fixed that pretty quick.
As for PvP I believe the game is better then ever.
Last year azuras star was the popular campagn and 1fps while rubberbanding was normal. Thats with 100mbs wired internet.
I know plenty of people with 10mbs internet and PvP just fine, (not in scourge)
As for stamina this is true that end game vet trails stamina builds puts out higher dps. This comes at a trade off of group buffs, Survivability and mobility. No vet trails is going to use only stam DPS.
I think the game is more balanced then ever but needs some slight tweaks to bring magicka on par with stam. Which will happens with the next dlc I'm sure.

In your router settings are you setting ports to the IP or the device name? If they are not set to the device name with mac address, it might explain your issue with it being ok some days and other days not. Your router might not assign your PS4 to the same IP every time its turned on. If your router is capable, mapping to the device name with mac address assures that the port settings follow it.Xbox One NA Aldmeri Dominion0 -

✭✭PS4 EU. Rare loading screens in Wrothgar but nothing like reported by others. Can take a while when leaving a way shrine in a main city for it to populate but otherwise fine.

✭All I get is some frame rate issues in Wrothgar here and there. I feel bad for the people experiencing problems, but mine is working great. Even in Cyro proper.
