It seems there are far too few people who play using Gamepad mode to care about.
I'm guessing it will be fixed sometime after the console gets this update and and even then only if all console users have to power down in order to change characters.

tryia3b14a_ESO✭✭✭So after getting the failure to log out bug (I just hit logout and then walked away from my PC), I went to dinner and then did a bunch of other stuff. I came back and I was still in the game. I think the failure to log out bug might also prevent you from afking out. We just need to find a way to exploit this and then maybe it'll get fixed.0 -
