Guild Traders Listings (Ability to Alter Price Without Relisting) (REQUESTED)

Let me preface this by stating that I don't care if you think this shouldn't be allowed. I don't care about your rebuttle to defend against it.

Zenimax, or @ZOS_GinaBruno rather,

I think you should add an ability to currently active trade listings to be able to alter the price. We've already payed a deposit on the item. We should be able to change its price instead of canceling the item and paying even more gold to relist it. Undercutting is real and price changes are real by the day. I should be able to change the price through the guild trading UI without having to cancel the item.

Please?

Limit it to once a day and I'm on board, otherwise you get real-time price wars and instability.

Great way to start a thread, you think after reading that, anyone will care about anything you have to say?

    I agree with Wayfarer

Once a day would be easy to implement and not destabilize the entire economy like real time would.

Without willingness to discuss it why should ZOS change anything based on one user?

That being said I agree with it. But really no need to open a discussion if you aren't willing to discuss.

I request the ability to cancel all of Conquistadors auctions in real time. I already paid for membership. I should be able to cancel his listings.

    Pretty please?

I agree with @wayfarerx and @Bouldercleave , as long as it's only once per day (to keep the price wars to a minimum), I could really get behind this idea.

    @Conquistador

When creating a thread in the forums your ASKING for a discussion.

Doing so in a manner starting off stating clearly stating you don't care what anyone else thinks or has to say will bring much trolling of your close minded dogma. Really not a good way to start a discussion.

So, my 2 cents. The listing fee is rather small so it's really not very consequential. Additionally, it's design to be a cash sink and as such sill not be removed. It's fairly common in MMOs to have this fee. Its to prevent constant canceling and delisting of items.

I don't see prices fluctuating all that much, other than on things like the new Motifs which command premium prices at first. Most other items that are sold regularly have a price that they generally sell for. There may be some trend movement in prices over time, but nothing other than new items to the game needing some price adjustment if they are not sold in the first couple of weeks.

The biggest issue to changing prices is not the listing fee, that is nothing. It is the time needed to cancel an item, wait for it to show up in the mail, then relist it. So, my suggestion is, allow the price changes while listed, but still have to pay the listing fee for the new price as you were listing it for the first time.

Then again, this may be a data base function such that the price can't be changed once listed unless it is removed from the store (to delete the record) and relisted.

As someone who often relist items in traders for various reasons, I'm against this being implemented due to it's insignificance. If an item you listed at 100k needs to be relisted you only lose 1k.... insignificant.

Just because the fee isn't much doesn't mean it isn't extremely annoying to do all the time. Prices on some things are changing rapidly and I end up relisting things quite often. But the mail system is horrible so that involves either relogging or running to an Outlaw's Refuge every time I want to relist something - that is what I want changed.

I would love the option of once per day relisting, just to avoid that nonsense.

You're really not seeing or understanding the big picture here. During the day, especially following a DLC drop, having the new price of something is important so you don't end up with non-robust stock.
