Repeated game crashes, followed by persistent failures to log in

I had taken the wayshrine to Mournhold, from Belkarth, to buy provisioning materials.
I was ejected to the login screen on my first attempt to transfer to Mournhold. I was successful on the 2nd try, however I noticed some lag while attempting to use interactables such as guild store traders.
While shopping for food/drink mats, I was ejected twice character select screen. The 2nd time this happened, I failed re-login and was sent to the login screen. I was able to re-login that time, but the whole thing happened once again. I was ejected to the character select screen, and again failed to re-login and was sent back to the login screen.
This time, however, every attempt I made (six tries) to return to the game failed. Twice, I got so far as the character select screen, but failed to return to the game itself. Four times, I failed even to get as far as the character select screen.
As it is, I appear to be locked out of the game by some kind of bug. There's some possibility that the lag I experienced might be related to it.
This isn't the first time I've had terrible problems reaching Mournhold or staying in the game while in Mournhold.
This problem occurred between 2:45 and 3:30 EDT on 7 August 2016. My character is a ch160 Khajiit nightblade named Rissa Manyclaws.

✭Helloooo. I recommend paying attention to the other thread called "Return of loading screens". People are updating with information on what can't and can be done in-game.Ignorance is the greatest weapon of tyranny.

Attempts 1, 3, and 4.
I got past the login screen and the character select screen. I saw the still-picture of the city of Mounhold, off in the distance, and below the picture was the word DESHAAN and below that was a one-line message of advice on how to play the game. That picture stayed there for much longer than it usually does, and then I guess I got timed out. I landed right back on the log-in screen.
Attempt 2.
After typing in my password on the log-in page, I got a box error message that said (something like) "Unable to connect to game server. Please be sure you have a valid internet connection."

I have been crashing at wayshrines and in cyrodiil since dark brotherhood. It has gotten worse with the latest dlc.
August 7 and I missed a 14K AP defense tick by ten seconds due to a crash. I am furious. I crash about every 30 minutes out there that day too.
I also crashed running through the same door, every time like clock work, after the battle in white gold towers scroll room. Never had a crashing problem till now. Addons on addons off doesn't matter but I am running the same stuff my guild mates are and they are not crashing.
Yes I tried all the solutions ever listed.
Not sure if what they did today will solve my problem or not but I sure hope it does, its getting old.
