✭✭With the exception of the nords and argonians, every other race is elf, even the khajiit hail from elves I believe (Or at least related in some way to the bosmer). And the bretons are half elven.

If you're not trolling, I would suspect your friend refers to the way historically the races of mer are slowly devolving and dying off, whereas man seems to be growing and thriving.
