Werewolf vs Vampire

In more recent patches vampire is far superior to werewolf, mainly for the stronger passives vampire offers to both stamina and magicka builds.
As someone who has played as both I prefer werewolf over vampire, but vampire is over all more beneficial than werewolf as it gives passive stamina and magicka regen, whereas werewolf only offers the regen when it is slotted, werewolf form itself is also hard to heal with as the healing scales off of magicka and many passives don't benefit a player at all as most are aimed for groups of werewolves which are unlikely to find because the vast majority of players choose vampire.

It would be quite nice if werewolf were to get passive stamina recovery and if certain skills were reworked to make werewolf more appealing to players.

    The werewolf skill line is far from perfection. The playstyle it offers is wonky due to its high ultimate cost and how you have to race against the clock just to remain in ww, which you need in order to gain the benefits of being a ww. Its like they want you to be a ww and not be a ww at the sametime but its done in a way that just isn't fun 'cause the current ww just restricts you from living your ww fantasy due to the costly prerequisites just to transform and how you just can't be a ww out of combat.

    I really hope they take inspiration from the reworked Nidalee playstyle. Nidalee's human form gives versatility due to her toolkit while cougar form is used for speed and executions. Her spear gives a hunt buff that increases movement speed and allows her to gapclose to her target. The werewolf transformation should be a toggle ability with a low cost to mimic a shapeshifter playstyle. Built in weaknesses should be a thing of the past 'cause a lot of the casuals around here who defend it just don't see how it hurts the game so badly. You would never see a competitive LoL player vouch for built in weaknesses on champions cause they know that players are smart and that ultimately kills that champion in any competitive play. No one would play LoL if Lee Sin took 25% extra damage from monsters or a certain champion, I know the devs wouldn't play it either so why keep it in the game.

    If werewolf were to work similarly to overload and had certain buffs the majority of these issues would go away, because at the moment if a werewolf attacks you in PvP, if you just block and heal a couple of times the enemy is likely to die as the heal itself is severely underpowered compared to vigor, rally and other stamina related heals, vampire doesn't have this problem as they get low health damage reduction.

    Yeah the magicka scaling seems to be common practice. For example Rengar from LoL had a W heal that scaled with ability power but it also gave defenses, before it also decreased the enemy's damage but they removed that. Usually the heal with opposite stat has high scaling to make up for it, why they do it I dunno. Personally I think ww survivability is moderate but the damage can sink if you remain in ww form too long 'cause your human form buffs run out and you can't reapply until you exit your form. Then you have to deal with the high ww cost ult again. You can either wait for the 300 ultimate or do 3 dawnbreakers. Overall this playstyle is frustrating 'cause I just wanna be a werewolf.

    True that, it's just better to be a vamp but being ww is a lot more fun, if ww is like overload you'll only lose ult when you, per say use a skill, that would make ww a lot more viable and all classes could get their buffs up and retransform into ww.
