More Classes?

Is it possible that eso will ever add another class or two? And if so, what would it be? I understand that we have a tank class(dragonknight) a melee class (nightblade) a ranged class (sorcerer) and a healer (templar). But aren't there other roles that could be fulfilled? Such as a buff/debuff support class, or a class that specializes in minimal attack and vast defense? We have a shock class, fire class, where's our frost class? A lot of people say that they'd rather have more skill lines instead of another class, that way, they wouldn't have to make another character, but, those extra skills probably wouldn't be enough to where people would actually use them. I'd be fine to wait for things to be "rebalanced" before we get another class. But I have to know, what would that class be?

✭✭✭✭✭Many, many topics have been made on this. Funny thing is ESO was actually planned to launch with a fifth class, a dedicated healer. But since the Templar already had some OP healing spells, they canned it.

Not sure if I have correctly understood your point but here's an info : you can play all roles (and be good at it) with all classes for all content.
I think problem is that you think that one class can only fulfill one role, which is completely wrong. You're asking for more diversity (which is cool
) cause you think there is no diversity with our actual classes, but it's wrong. Cause atm with 4 classes we can have 4 different kind of healer, 4 different kind of tank, 4 different kind DPS (and i'm not talking about mag/stam char, it add more diversity). So you're asking for more classes cause you want more "roles". You ask for specialization/roles that already exist in game. You can be a buff/debuff support char if you want with the existing classes, if you choose to play as a healer, you can perfectly fulfill this role, a char that specializes in minmal attack and vast defense look like a tank, we can do that with each class.
To answer your last question, I think if ZoS add a new class they'll add a class that can fulfill every role, like any other class. We lack a class that relies on frost attack (A necromancer or something like that). And we lack the possibilty to play as a pure stamina healer, I don't know pure stamina healer build that can be main heal in trials (correct me if I'm wrong) And I do hope they won't add a class that can only fulfill a unique role...
Well, are you asking for more diversity cause you're thinking there isn't in the game ? Are you asking for a class that can only fulfill a unique role ? Are you asking for a new class that works on the same principle as the other classes (by fulfilling different roles) ?

✭✭✭✭It's been over 2 years and they are still working on the original 5 classes (1stam). They are still trying to get basic class functions like gap closers to work. We haven't even received a class tree expansion. I don't see it happening anytime soon.Retired.

shugg✭✭✭Tbh ppl have invested to much time into the 4 classes with shards and skill points , if it where up to me i would expand on vamp and ww make sure the have 5 skills to pick from ( maybe a bit less with ww as u get 5 in wolf form). I would then add in new skill lines but like vamp and ww u can only have 1 and each gives 5 skill options:
Add in necromancer, frost mage, hunter pet tree, illusionist, shamen . This way theres more choices but still the foundations of the 4 classes0 -
