Should there be an instant 50 elixir?

If you have multiple characters, you know it becomes grindy after you've done ALL 3 alliances. So I propose an elixir, that immediately puts you at level 50, and completes the main story and alliance quests (doesn't complete side quests). This can ONLY be used if you already have a level 50 character in the alliance you're choosing. It will also allow you to set your character's CLASS abilities as the following: One line at 35, one line at 25, and one at 15. It will also give you 7 pieces of normal quality level 50 gear (not set items), your choice of light, medium, or heavy. Additionally, one normal quality level 50 weapon and/or shield. The price of the elixir would be 5,000 crowns.

What do you guys think?

I really don't want to say yes, but having done the Pact Questline four times now...

Also, your idea does have some good ways of justifying such a bypass, such as the requirement to already have a Level capped character in that Alliance, however you should also specify that the Character needs to have fully completed the Alliance Questline at least once, since people can easily level up to 50 without even touching a Quest.

However I don't agree with the number of "gifts" we'd be receiving along with the insta-level 50, such as a full set of armor and weapons, even if they're just normal pieces. If you already have a character in the end game then you can be held responsible for crafting your own gear for the new character, and or buying it since so many people seem to be rich these days.

But, even though I don't like easy ways out, I have gotten so tired of doing the Pact Questline over and over again, and since I'm sure ZOS would appreciate the extra revenue, I wouldn't be opposed to a (RESTRICTED) Crown Store Bypass.

This isn't bloody WoW. Besides, if you've got psijik ambrosias and training gear, you could hit lv 50 in about a day. Two at the most. I've done it.

I have 12 characters & I do not find it 'grindy' to level them.. it's the part of the game I enjoy the most! I level them all in the BWB campaign in Cyrodiil... if anything they grow up too quickly & then sit dormant when they hit LVL50 because there is no way I can afford to craft/buy top level gear for them all... I usually delete one & start a new guy.

No, just no. I have ten lv. 50 chars. 9 leveled up via grinding and I still don't want this insta lv. 50 s***. Seriously, leveling to 50 is so fast now.

I have no problem with this, if someone wants to spend crowns to do that. However, at this point you can already level pretty quickly.

Much more interested in some way to start new characters at 10, so we can jump right into Cyrodiil, or something like "white water blade" pvp campaign for levels 3 - 10.

PVP is what I enjoy about this game and now that we level a bit faster and we only need to go to 50, it's pretty viable to play the game without grinding very much at all - except for levels 3 - 10.

I have 10/12 max level characters so.... yeah. Would pay to just have one maxed. I think the "if you already have level 50 on that faction" is a fair condition.

I don't really understand why people say its p2w. You can have a max level character in this game and still be totally garbage. Not really winning tbh.

To stand on the side of the devil for just a second though, why would anyone really care if there actually was a Crown store bypass available? If you guys grind your characters because that's what you choose to do, then wouldn't that be your choice, and not your obligation? Instead of feeling forced to grind your characters, if you do it cause you choose to then what do you care if other people choose not to?

It feels like this is yet another case of, "Don't make it easier on the new guy cause I didn't have it easy."

I'd never buy one. Part of the reason the game makes you level through 1-50 is so you can level up player skills and armor levels, undaunted, mages guild etc etc.

Unless you want those leveled on the toon? Idk aboot that either, but I wouldn't say no to any convenience item on the crown store.

For me, the issue is/was never getting to level 50 that was a problem. It's easy enough and if I decide to make a new toon I should be expected to level as everyone else does.

My issue is the mount training.

I simply cannot go through another year of training a mount when I've already got a full 60/60/60. It might just kill me

Lol all I am seeing is people saying it is to easy and fast to level to 50 as a reason to not have level 50 elixir or whatever. If it is so easy and fast then why does it matter? It is not like you won't be able to still level up on your own. Obviously since it is so easy and fast to get to level 50 then this could cause no harm.

Sure, if it's hella expensive.

It only takes what, 8 hours to power to 50 with a buddy? Maybe 20ish if you are bad at grinding? So on the one hand, that's not a really serious grind compared to AvA rank, Undaunted grind, mages grind, and lorebooks. On the other hand, its a pretty significant convenience factor. And ZOS could probably use the income--so make it 5k crowns.

I'll never touch it, but I don't see it as a bad thing.

If you get a buddy to grind with, pop a scroll and pledge of mara with full training gear, you can grind a char from 1-50 in less than 3 hours. That's literally nothing. It's so easy to grind a char these days that a lvl50 elixir isn't warranted. If the Vet 1-16 grind was still in place, I'd easily say yes as that alone could take a day or two. I'd much rather have a instant undaunted, FG and MG elixir...

Alts is one of the main mechanics of a MMO for player retention. The time it takes to level, gear, skill out etc. is all part of what keeps a game population strong. If they continue to eliminate the time it takes to bring alts up to snuff overall they simply hurt their own player base. They have already made atls pretty easy with shared champion points, BOA gear, they dont need instant max toons

Guys! Understand one thing please!
It's not about how fast you can be lvl50 ( grinding a few hours, or buying for crowns - this idea - ), it's all about SKILL POINTS(skyshards), fighters guild, mages guild. undaunted, all the weapon/skill lines you need, to be on the maxiumum take weeks to leavel! This is what most of my friends I know would pay!

There is absolutely no need for it with the way the training trait works now.
Really, absolutely no need.
If you think you need a bigger boost, wait for events like the anniversary event or the Witches' Festival. If the Witches' Festival goes live like it was on the PTS, it will give us a memento that gives 100% xp from all sources for the duration of the event, like the anniversary event's cake.

I leveled 10 characters up and did every single quest in the game, by the way.
