Stamplar DW vs 2H help

Hey everybody Im a 164CP Imperial Stamplar, I usually only do PVE and I favor doing damage vs being a tank. Anyway almost everywhere I look people recommend using DW instead of 2H. I have one bar of each right now and I cant ever stay DW for more than a few minutes, I just get trashed by everything. If I switch to 2H Im almost invincible and I can cut through piles more enemies.
I really love 2H more than DW, but am I doing something wrong thats preventing me from staying alive? Is there some kind of damage shield or perk Im missing?
Im at the point where I dont even care about doing slightly more damage if I die every 3 minutes.

✭Brawler had a shield component if you use that skill.
Rally is one of the best skills in the game.
However bloodthirst for DW is sic as long as you don't get stunned or interrupted.0 -

And what mobs you fight?
I also play very often 2h\dw stamplar build for PvE, and i use both bars. 2H is usefull for good finisher and i also use it for crit rush mobility. DW i use for boss fight not on finishing stage and for tarsh mobs clearning with tornado.
Anyway main spam skill is jabs for both lines (exept of tornado for trash mobs). And i have no any problems with survival although, i do not use any healing exept of repentance and forward momentum HoT (i use this morph as its better for PvP and i don't need rally in PvE as i can put vigor on bar if will need extra healing).0 -

✭Did you take all of the non healing morphs from the D/W skill line? Below are the morphs with healing abilities tied to them. While those skills work decently for heals, when you add in Vigor > Resolving Vigor to that build you can have excellent healing abilities.
Twin Slashes > Blood craze

undefeatdgaul✭✭✭Did you take all of the non healing morphs from the D/W skill line? Below are the morphs with healing abilities tied to them. While those skills work decently for heals, when you add in Vigor > Resolving Vigor to that build you can have excellent healing abilities.
Twin Slashes > Blood craze
Flurry > Bloodthirst
yeh I did take mostly the non healing skills. I need to get vigor too, I just don't have many people to pvp with

You want to use duel wield on main bar with jabs as main dps skill and all the others the fighters guild skills for extra wep damage use flawless dawn breaker for your special on the 2nd bar use 2h and that's your buff bar rally and execute that's my advice what sets are you using I would recommend twice born star for the 2 mundas bonus with divines use weapon damage and weapon crit0 -

When you do and morph it, go with Resolving Vigor as it gives you a greater heal than your allies. Best thing to do when solo is to follow the crowds. Go to where the action is whether at a resource, keep or scroll. Toss up some siege and defending a keep can get you a lot more AP than trying to snipe single targets from the wall. You can get more AP by running Vigor with small groups as well as you get AP for healing others as well.
