2 dungeons and a few revamped trials, the rest being a load of for-pay cosmetic stuff in the crown store? Would not buy.

[Edit] Forgot that the trials and crown store stuff are base game, so for the actual DLC you get 2 dungeons.

I think all of the DLC they have released have been really good. Whether or not there is a lot of content, you find quality stuff.

Both dungeons are awesome from what I've seen.

I like all the updates and fixes.

But I need more story content etc.

But I like Cyrodiil town capture, the scaling of old content etc. It's about time they did that.

I will be trying the new dungeons sooooooooooon. The Mephala one looks very cool. Love Mephala.

The only reason why I'd buy this DLC is for the cool looking gear and I do like delving with my friends however If you're more of a story lover guy I'd advice you not buying this DLC and perhaps saving your crowns for future DLCs that might be worth the purchuse

No, but it is all BUNDLED with update 11, so I consider it part of the update/DLC as a whole.

However, with regards to the actual dungeons, I shall withold until I have played through them. It is certainly a small update. But small is not necessarily bad; some around here have been calling for smaller content so as they can combat bugs and do QOL stuff.

Go argue semantics elsewhere. You understood full well I meant the paid part only. If you're not a subscriber and you don't buy the Shadows of the Hist DLC you still get update 11, but not the... wait for it... DLC. Most games, even offline games, are routinely updated/patched through downloads, but that doesn't mean the industry has taken to calling them DLC. That term is usually reserved for paid content.

[Edit] Also, this is clearly what the OP meant since the question is whether or not to buy it.

You only get 2 dungeons, so it doesn't sound like you'd enjoy it. It's a completely different type of DLC to Orsinium.

Precisely. "Free" DLC which everyone gets, regardless of wether they buy it or not. Therefore, in absolutely every sense of logic- one can rightly and logically split the 'free DLC' and 'paid DLC' into 'patch' and 'DLC'.

As said above, stop arguing pointless semantics. [SNIP] We still don't stand corrected, so, sorry about that.

2 new dungeons that should have been given for free, nothing to increase ,compel , or motivate people to group together, and anything you get in them you can go buy from crafting that is as good or better. The talented forward thinking people that were the creative heart and soul of this game this game are long gone and moved onto other companies. Right now they are going the Neverwinter route with their buisness model and content development. this is the death of AAA MMO's this was the last one.Thank you Corporate greed you screwed up another great Genre!

This update gave us a lot of free stuff. The 2 new dungeons are great. If you are a dungeon runner the DLC is def worth it.

MMOs cost a lot of money to operate. ESO does not require a sub, does not use immersion breaking gambling boxes, all DLCs have been optional. Really will never understand how can people still complain.

Because we live in a world of entitlement gaming.

GIVE ME NO SUB - Ok no sub but alot of crown store items so we can continue to make money to continue to make this game.

OMG CROWN STORE STUFF COST ME MONEY QQ...

ESO and Zenimax will never win. Are they a perfect company making a perfect game? No, but players now want everything easy and free and none stop.

I've read about the DLC, and while I primarily play PvE only, I run most of the game Solo or with my Wife.

We never really do any of the Group Dungeons, there's no desire to run them. Since the actual paid part of this DLC only includes two (2) new 4-Man Dungeons and the rest is part of the Base Game Patch, there's no real motivation to shell out real money for content my wife and I will have zero desire to run through.

So no, my wife and I will not be purchasing this DLC.

On a side note; we read through the patch notes for the PC (as it's the only one currently out), ad we are not happy about the coming disparity between Stamina and Magicka builds. Both my wife and I run Magicka build characters (she runs a Sorcerer, I run a Magicka Templar), and this update is really not sitting well with us.

This is not going to be a welcome download in our household... WTF were you thinking, ZOS!? @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_RichLambert These are horrible changes! You're killing Magicka builds and it almost seems like you're forcing us into Stamina builds. Not happy about the coming update at all. :(
