Performance Tips

So I have a pretty crappy laptop, but I just miss Tamriel so dam much I gotta play. I know it's not gonna look pretty, but I gotta get in there. Does anyone have any tips that might smooth out my performance? Here are my specs:
CPU- i5 3337U, 1.80 GHz (4 CPUs)
Ram- 6 gb
GPU- Intel HD 4000

Some people can get the game to run on this, some can not.

And, being a laptop, a Clean Boot is pretty much mandatory given all the silly shovelware that is on laptops

My system is lots worse than that!

I'd suggest reducing the distance you can see overland, shadows, reflections, and other lighting tricks seem to help also. You can cut down on the detail you see on your toon also, but that's my last resort generally.
