Hello,
I have a Redguard Stam Dragonknight and I recently hit CP 160 so I was wondering which crafted gear would be most helpful for endgame DPS. I do mostly PvE. I was also wondering if someone could give me an idea of how I should allocate my CP.

Here are my (somewhat pitiful) stats (unbuffed):

Health: 12555
Stamina: 22404
Stam Recovery: 881
Weapon Damage 2019
Weapon Crit: 20.3% (Yikes, I know)
CP:166

Attributes:

Magicka: 0
Health: 5
Stam: 59

I should've included my bar setup.

    First bar: DW
Rapid Strikes, Noxious Breath, Igneous Weapons, Steel Tornado, Venomous Claw. Ultimate: Flawless Dawnbreaker

    Second Bar: 2H
Critical Rush, Wrecking Blow, Green Dragon Blood, Executioner, Forward Momentum. Ult: Corrosive Armor

I also typically run 5 Medium and 2 Heavy.

Start with something like 5 hundings, 3-4 nights silence, with agility or jewlery. That's a good starter set.

Start with something like 5 hundings, 3-4 nights silence, with agility or jewlery. That's a good starter set.

5 Night Mother Gaze / 4 Hundings / 3 Agility (all Robust with Weapon damage enchants) is actually better for those who don't have vMA weapons. All medium, full Divines, Thief mundus, only stamina glyphs on armor. 1 Dagger, 1 axe (1 Sharpened / 1 Precise or 2 Sharpened). All attribute points into stamina. Use Health / stamina food.
    First bar: DW
Rapid Strikes, Noxious Breath, Igneous Weapons, Steel Tornado, Venomous Claw. Ultimate: Flawless Dawnbreaker

    Second Bar: 2H
Critical Rush, Wrecking Blow, Green Dragon Blood, Executioner, Forward Momentum. Ult: Corrosive Armor

If you really want to run this setup, I guess you're not the "flower picking" kind (for short, you don't get Major Brutality from potions), so assuming this, you'll get your Major Brutality buff from abilities. Now, DW / Bow is superior to DW / 2H, but this is how I'd set a DW / 2H setup:

    DW
    • Rapid strikes
    • Venomous claw
    • Steel tornado (AoE) OR Rending slashes (boss fights)
    • Rearming trap
    • Expert hunter (any morph)
    • (R) Flawless Dawnbreaker

    2H
    • Executioner
    • Rally OR Igneous weapons (favor Igneous weapons)
    • Resolving Vigor (GDB meanwhile)
    • Caltrops (any morph, I prefer Razor caltrops for dungeons, anti-cavalry for boss fights)
    • (flex) Flames of Oblivion
    • (R) Standard of Might

Now, honestly, I'm not even sure Executioner is good enough to compare to the DW bar, even in execute phase, if not, might as well just replace it with a passive damage buff (a Fighters' guild abilities, Silver shards to have a ranged attack for use once in a while I guess).

Reasons for what abilities are changed
    • Wrecking Blow is redundant and a DPS loss compared to Rapid strikes, especially since it has a bad synergy with weaving
    • We eliminated the redundancy of Major brutality by choosing either Rally or Igneous weapons (I'd pick Igneous weapons)
    • Corrosive Armor is inferior to Standard of Might both for single target DPS and AoE situations. The drop in survivability can be compensated by... learning the mechanics.
    • Forward momentum makes sense in PvP, but Rally (if you use it) is the better choice for dungeons. That said, Igneous weapons is still the preferred choice, as it also gives you extra ultimate, and the Minor brutality buff.

Still, this is a dungeon setup, true late game, you'll want to look at something like what @Alcast posted above.

I also typically run 5 Medium and 2 Heavy.

Why run igneous weapons? Forward momentum already gives you major brutality and it doesn't stack. Also why do you have 2 damage bars? Even if this is for Pve it's not efficient because you could be using caltrops on your buff bar. IMHO, you should have a buff bar and a damage bar. You currently have two damage bars but are missing some key skills. You don't need wrecking blow if you are using rapid strikes. You also don't need executioner if you are using dual wield skills because the dual wield skills act as an execute already and you have steel tornado slotted which acts as your execute. You'd be better off using igneous shields on your off bar because it gives a 5% stamina return and it gives minor brutality increasing weapon damage by 5%.

    Try this.
    Bar 1 dual wield
    Venomous claw
    Noxious breath
    Steel tornado
    Expert hunter (any morph)
    Rapid strikes
    Flawless dawnbreaker

    Bar 2 2hand
    Igneous shield
Green dragon blood (vigor if you have it instead)
    Forward momentum
    Reflective scale/volatile armor/ or shuffle
    Critical rush
    Corrosive armor

^much more effective I promise you

Thanks for all the information that you're giving me man! Wouldn't it be more beneficial to have maybe one health enchant on my armor? Seeing as how my health is fairly low.

Use food and start doing the dungeons to level undaunted . That'd give u 6% extra states. W/ Cp-150 food you and be close to 17k health which is more than enough

    DPS buld for redguard DK
    1. CP. Blue: Taumaturg and Precious strikes until inc<=0.4% rest all to mighty until caps. When mighty at cap put to taumaturg and precious strike at 2\1 rate.
CP. Red mostly spread between mitigations (dont remeber both in middle const) adn some for healing resieved.
CP Green to stam regen until caps then to stam cost reduction.
    2. Armour. light divines belt, heavy infused chest, 5 medim (head and guards infused else - divines), Mundus - thief.
    3. Sets, 5Hundings+4mothers gase + (need to buy 3 agility jewelry). Armour with stamina enchanment, weapon with poison.
    4. Weapon DW both. 1st bar 2x daggers, 2nd bar 2x hammers or hammer+sword. Everything sharpened.
    5. bars:
    main AoE\trashmobs bar (2xdaggers)
    tornado-hunter-cloak-nox breath-igneous weapons \\FDB
main boss bar (2x hammers or hammer+sword)
    rapid strikes-hunter-blood craze- venom claw-vigor \\FDB

If you have good heal in party and have no need in emergensy heal you can put away vigor and put nox breath on both bars (for conviniense not tu tuggle bars on boss fight) or put shadow silk or rearming trap for extra damaging skill.
