Can you only buy horses with ingame gold?

Or do the dlc's have new mount vendors?

    You can buy a few horses of different colours for in game gold, or you can buy a range of different mounts for crowns (purchased with IRL money) in the crown store.

    Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

    Sorry to say but no.
    What you see is all that's available with in game gold.
    Everything else has only been available through the crown store.

    Well that's utterly dissapointing.

    Hovering over the first box of Orsinium items (in the dlc crown store) says "New mounts, pets, and gear"

    Yeah it is a disappointment and the crown store is known to be very misleading.
    There is a pet you get just for buying the dlc and there is gear aplenty.
    But they have never added a new mount we can earn in game. Every single one has required a separate purchase unfortunately for us.

    There is an imperial horse coming with the imperial edition - the upgrade can be bought in the crown store. And the upcoming gold edition (for a new account though) will have the palomino horse and the first 4 DLCs with it (not the new one though).

    That's weird. There is a new pet you unlock from entering the zone, and new items... but, I'm not aware of any new mount with Wrothgar. There were new crown store mounts, but that not the same thing.

    That's weird. There is a new pet you unlock from entering the zone, and new items... but, I'm not aware of any new mount with Wrothgar. There were new crown store mounts, but that not the same thing.

    They could probably phrase it better and more accurately by saying 'new mounts available on the crown store' rather than making it sound like you could get one from the DLC itself. They have had 1 free thing with each dlc so far (except IC), pets for wrothgar and TG, and personalities for DB and SotH, but no mounts.

    Thieves guild had a camel
    Dark Brotherhood had a wolf

    Some of the collectors editions have been removed from the crown store (Wrothgar)

    True, but this was earlier today, the Orsinium CE was removed awhile ago.
    Yet the descripton in the crown store suggests non-CE adds new mounts.

    The reference to mounts in the title of the tile is probably a mistake and should not be there. The description doesnt say anything about mounts. I agree it could be misleading though but when the CE was there, it was pretty clear that was the one that had the pet and the mount as is the case with the Shadow of the Hist CE compared to the non CE SotH.

    The horses ingame look the best to me . I'm saving for the black horse .
