With Vigor and a Major Buff you can easily walk on lava with literally no damage even as a vampire (if you put 100cp into elemental resistance)Master Debater0 -

Reevster✭✭✭✭✭Good buff seeing they didn't lower fire attack buff, how can anyone complain about this?
I actually like using a lighting staff over the fire staffs, I have been using my sorcs lighting staff on my Dark Elf mag NB for the last few months, now its even better...

mook-eb16_ESO✭✭✭✭reduce lava damage:- well there are certain dungeons out there with a lot lava in them, maybe that one that ppl farm valkyn skoria in for instance and that passive might help make it easier. shock damage well yes dunmer can be sorc and there's afew skills that use shock damage, this increase helps bring dunmer sorc inline with altmer sorc. I hope zeni have done the math so they balanced now.

Seriously though, this pretty much does make Dunmer the go to magic race across the board, at least for PVE DPS. A traditional sorc might do a bit better with Altmer, but I bet its pretty negligible. If you are going for DPS on a magic DK, Templar, or NB, dunmer is the answer now. Fire Blockade is just too darn powerful.0 -

✭Because not every dark elf will you fire staffs for various reason.
They prefer electrically for sorc passive a, they use ice because they always thought ice staves were cool, and not mention RNG on any non crafted staff.
Not to mention if buffs all three force pulse hits not just one.

I use lightning on my DK in a very specific way. These buffs are amazing for my build. That being said I don't think they were necessary, dunmer was already very good.0
