Ticket Ref: 160801-002720

Game will automatically crash after entering the login menu with no interaction from the client.

Error 11 statement upon crash.

Running repair states a 33GB redownload.

No visible error via the GameConsultant.

Deleting the ShaderCache.cooked and usersettings.ini in Elder Scrolls Online/live folder does not work.

Deleting all host.developer.log# in the Launcher folder does not solve the issue.

Alright, same issue here. Since I'm limited to only 10 gigabytes a month for Internet, the only workaround I have is to keep a separate copy of the client on a backup hard drive.
What I determined to be the issue is that randomly, especially after crashes, the launcher likes to believe your copy of ESO is missing a massive portion of the game, or the whole thing is corrupt. I can't gather much on this other then that. All game data checks out (no missing files from what I can see; game doesn't change size when this glitch occurs).
The last time this happened, I couldn't play for two whole weeks due to this event. So I made sure to backup ESO.
It's sad, really. When I had the game on PS4, I never had a crash or any real bugs. Now? The game hardly runs on PC, it's buggy and crash-heavy, and I have to reinstall nearly every week.
I love having a local chat, I love the ease of mouse and keyboard, but this is quickly becoming not worth it. I'm on the verge of demanding a full refund from both my ESO Plus AND the game. Though I hate to say it, I'd rather play World of BoringCraft than Elder Crash and Reinstall Online. And I hate WoW with a burning passion, for good reason too.

Update: Turns out using my backup? Doesn't work. So there is literally no way to fix this without redownloading the whole game, leaving anyone with limited data utterly ruined.
If there isn't a fix by the end of the week, I'm demanding a full refund. This is outrageous.

so same issue and i deleted shader cache and did a full repair. it prompted a 33 GB download but after letting that go and letting is apply patch (enough time to watch Ali G in Da House on Netflix) it did work. I also noticed that before i was able to repair that there was several ESO.EXE running in the background i was able to close and then the repair patch went smoothly.

Best answer you will get from Zen:

1. Try rebooting your computer
2. Delete the launcher directory and redownload

That is literally the only technical advice I have seen so far.

This advice ruined my download for repair...
I was downloading whole game and @ZOS_DaryaK wrote me this solution and in order to do this i had close my launcher and and redowloaded launcher and tried to login and got the same error 11 again! And interesting thing is i have to now download the downloaded 24gb data again with my limited internet connection. I have "6 months eso+" for this game and i had to download this game 4 times since i started to play 11 months ago. This patch literally broke my game data and forced me to download +35gb data again and again. And this is their fault and they know it. There is currently a patch and i m prety sure i ll have to download game again and again cuz of their mistake. No official response for this error and many ppl have the same problem.

So my question is there a fix for this problem ? Am i gonna download the whole game again ? Already downloaded the patch last night. Any official answer ?

The frustration from me came from being able to log in to the PTS 32 bit and 64 bit with no problems, while at the same time NOT being able to log into the Live server.

That leads me to conclude that it's not a problem with my computer as others had suggested.

I tried a variety of different suggestions. Renaming version files, deleting launcher folders, removing plugins, running launcher as administrator, repairing, uninstalling via launcher, bathing in the blood of a Bosmer while rebooting, etc.

I uninstalled while trying to preserve some of my game files, but I encountered Error 11 again after uninstalling and reinstalling. Next I removed every file that was related to ESO from my system. Plugins, user settings, screenshots, etc. and then reinstalled the game. This seemed to have solved the problem last night, but I'll have to wait and see what happens with the patch they dropped.

Well, CS never responded to my reply so I basically had to download the whole thing again.

Actually I was able to use my laptop which I had ESO on back in January, update it with all the patches since then and transfer the files over to my main pc. Definitely saved some time/data.

Just a side note but I'm crashing instantly if I try to turn off shadows or water reflections. Even at character select screen. I can lower them but not turn them off. I normally do this before playing in Cyrodiil. Don't know how that could be related but thought I'd through it out there.

Closing the ticket stating its a duplicate, though I didn't submit any other ticket on this subject.

Closing the ticket without giving any assistance nor solutions on the clients issue.

I'm not sure if you are using the version from the US servers but I got an error 11 at one point when the launcher erroneously claimed it had completed downloading all updates/game files/patches. It clearly had received corrupt data without giving the dreaded "Reliable source serving corrupt data" error.

Best part is, the files in that torrent are guaranteed not to be corrupt. Additionally, there are md5 checksums in each torrent if you want to double check.

I was able to get up and running perfectly with those files after waiting two days and downloading the updates and patches from Zenimax's CDN 4-5 times unsuccessfully.
