Price of Name Change is PATHETIC.

The price of the name change is pathetic. 2,500 crowns to change some characters around? Lol, if you sap your playerbase' income long enough, they will tire of it and stop funding you guys.

Or you could, you know, remake your character...with the name you want. Leveling is stupidly easy nowadays.

No it's not. I'd rather they charged high prices for things that you aren't supposed to change every week, than having pay to win stuff in the crown store.

Please stop complaining, I swear it's all you ever do on these forums.

All the character change options are steeply priced . I'm just avoiding it .

I hope some day those prices will be set progressively, i.e. 100 crowns for first character change, 200 second change and so on :).

Please reread my comment. I said I would rather they have things like this on the crown store to make money THAN having pay to win things on the crown store.

And just delete 180 days of mount feeding? Sure.

    Obvious bait thread is obvious.

It's not a bait thread, It's a thread about what terrible things happen to the minds of greedy managers in general.

Common sense seems the first thing going away. After that that follows moral and ethic. And the feeling for their game fan base in general, seeing them only as walking wallets, ripe for the plunder ...

They even showed the first glimpse of that in the Steam paid mods for Skyrim debacle ... It was under guarantee the idea of ZeniMax additional to Valves.

Finally ending now in a 2500 crowns price tag, for a simple name change.

A NAME CHANGE for gods sake. Only a name.

How can you agree to that? I can get 5 games for that price.

The whole point of the crown store is to sell "convenience" items. If it's less convenient than deleting your character, buy the name change. It's the price of a new mount anyways. Choice is yours.

The intended topic is legit yes, but there are a few people posting here that are actually baiting. Also there is another thread on this topic as well lol

Hint: Using the word "fanboy" is pretty much baiting...

Regardless of what anyone thinks the prices are higher then most MMOs on the market for these convenances . An buy that standard alone there's going to be criticism . This may or may not not make difference in future prices however , there's no call to get upset at anyone's financial preferences either way . Saying ZOS should charge less may sound crazy to someone that values these changes as worth more , just as the opposite may sound crazy to some .

In the end ZOS's earnings report will tell if this was a good idea or bad in the future . Till then , don't support anything you don't think is fair or support it if you do .

Why bother changing your name? It's not like you can distinguish players when it's zerg vs zerg battles.

I think "fanboy" is the most appropriate description for people who accept that outrageous price tag. Only really devoted fans can defend that behavior of ZOS. Or maybe whales, who have enough money to burn.

Really. Think about that price, and imagine what other thing you can buy for it, if you have to change most of the names of your chars? I buy a new TFT display for that kind of money now, as example.
