Destro/Restro vs S+B Templar

Every other Templar I see is running S+B am I really missing out with using a Destro instead ? I know with S+B I could have a set 3 piece but is it really needed ?

Dstaff has some range, but for dps i would rather go dual swords and class skills, for the increased spelldam
