6 more hr's of maintenence!

Holy cow,
one would say they would have figured these patches out in the two plus years they are pushing them... now they are going for at least 6 more hr's of maintenence... so no eso for the europeans today.

Also, I had to look up the edt time, as not all live there so cet or bst would have been nice.

exactly this is, why EU deserves to get a different downtime. when the ETA is more or less correct most people will need to log out when ESO goes on, because they actually need to work for their money.
gosh.. ^^ it worked month's and years a go, suddenly it will not. idk

EU should stop whining, and I say this as a Dane

IF they had been on schedule, the timing would have been great, hitting 15-16PM, which is when most people have gotten home from work.. Since that the majority of EU, hopefully, is working, I think they have done pretty well

I'm moaning cause of a day of downtime instead if a couple of hr's.... seems a legit moan

IF they did, that would work too, since we would still hit 3pm with that delay.. But from what I hear, they only have 1 team now to do this, and I honestly think it would be unfair to have them working odd hours, and be paid for nightshift/overtime just so that we can play a computer game..

@Amsel_McKay Maybe they're locked out of their office because the building manager forgot to mention about the new locks and keys for the building and he's off sunbathing somewhere in Brazil.

What? Unfair to do your job? They fired their other team, that is their fault, when you are hired you know your job role as well... I dont think when they get their time and a half for a 12 hour downtime check they will be complaining... wait... that must be the "technical problem" they want more overtime

Its that extra "." in the code some place... only got a few million lines of code to check to find it

One thing is doing their job, another is to call them in after hours.. IF the maintenance start/end is within regular work hours, I would expect them to get it done.. But I would not call them in before/after work time unless it was critical.. Theirs is a job, ours is a luxury.. It's only a game, and we have no claim to get it just because we are not doing anything atm

They do list the "bst" time. It's at the top of this page...lol

We understand that long maintenance are very frustrating. There are several threads on this matter so we are locking this one, and recommend continuing this in here or here.
