Morag Tong for stam DK

Hello, any know if morag tong will be a good set if full jewerly is avialble over agility? I know that the serpent set is bis but dont really run offten trials to get it.

Vicious Ophidian is better. You are right.

Hard to say morag tong or agility.

Morag tong will be aviable with all items this patch.

But with agility you can use also maelstrom weapons and monster mask.

Morag Tong is an okay set for DPS, but best used as a group debuff, similar to Alkosh or Night Mother's Gaze, plus it doesn't stack with itself so only one person per group should run it.

The biggest issue with the set is how disruptive it is to other sets by having only a few pieces of gear available, and the need for one piece to be a weapon. If it had all pieces of gear available it would be a lot better since you wouldn't lose dps on having to run the weapon and jewellery.

Morag tong doesn't drop in rings, so a full set of jewelry is not possible. Provided you are running with an organized group (where you coordinate gear groupwide so that sets like morag tong or nightmother's gaze are only run by a single person), then having morag on a single person IS helpful provided you have a couple stam DK's in the group. It would most likely be a dps loss for the person running it, but the dps boost experienced by the rest of the team makes up for it. In one of my trials groups, we actually have the offtank run morag tong (to minimize the dps loss). In the other group I'm a part of, one of our stam DPS runs it.

You could go 4 Morag Tong, 4 Shield Breaker/Morkuldin, 3 Agility. It's a pretty good sustain setup overall for PvE and PvP.

IC jewelry sets give pretty good bonuses since it gives 1400 max stamina and 189 weapon damage instead of 967/129.

One my stam DK, I run this build, it's average but easy to get somewhat:
Leki or Morkuldin - chest, legs, belt, 2h sword/bow - All gold with infused stam enchants
Agility jewelry - not easy to get - Robust all 3 with weapon damage enchantment
Sentry - Shoulders, hands, feet or belt - All gold with divines, stam enchants
Kena or Blood Spawn helm - regen or WD - All gold with stam enchants

I get and 3949 weapon damage, buffed with rally and ing shield with around 1500ish regen

I don't know if this will help you with your journeys but I use this build for PVP and solo dungeons, currently working on a stam NB for something different since I've played the same DK since beta.

To clarify, ONE person running is because the debuff can only apply one time, but the entire group benefits.

As for the gear, there is no rings and the traits are locked. They have said they will revisit adding in more items/traits in the future, but for now they have only upscaled it to CP 160

on a stam DK you can combine Morag Tong with either Serpent or Viper with all the poison damage you do you definitely see and increase in that (I use Morag Tong with Viper right now as I don't have 5 pcs Serpent)

Where can you get the Morag Tong or Bloodspawn piece? From a trial or PvP? I was also told Kena is better than the Tong because Kena gives you weapon damage with just the one piece.. yeah?

That applied to Dark Brotherhood. For this latest patch, capturable towns have vendors that sell boxes with PvP gear, but in almost all item slots, including jewelry. That means sets like Twin Sisters, Morag Tong, Durok's Bane, etc. will have jewelry, weapons, and armor.

And no, you are wrong with misinformation. Morag tong will be available in all armor pieces/trait and all weapons/traits and jewelry from the cyrodiil town capture vendor. I know that for a fact because I played with it on pts

Morag Tong 5-piece with Viper 5-piece is great for stacking poison damage on a Stam DK, especially in PvP. It will increase damage of Venom Claw, Noxious Breath, Corrosive Armor, and if you use bow, Poison Inject, and Lethal Arrow.

On my Stam NB, I run Morag Tong 5-piece with Viceconon 5-piece for the same increase to poison damage and it works like a charm.
