Why are Viper weapons so expensive and the other pieces are not?

While all the other pieces have a relatively low price? I can just make a full viper set without the weapons and save a lot of money.
is there something im missing here?

Viper armor doesnt have this trait.
So you need 3 parts of jewalery and 2 weapons
Weapons loots only from last boss in SO
The best trait for PVP for weapons is sharpened.
Its about 0,1% to get sharpened one hand weapon of Viper.

Erraln✭✭✭✭✭The armors drop from the sub-bosses, and the weapons drop from the final boss. There are many, many items on his drop list, and many of them are misconfigured for the common player's uses. Dreugh King Restoration staves, Elegant Shields, etc etc. Also, Veteran mode is weighted towards BoP sets rather than BoE, so many skilled players running the raid have poor chances of spawning such a weapon.
Oh, and they're useful. With weapons and jewelry you could pull off 5/5/2 setbonus setups.
So rarity and desirability invoke demand. Savvy?5
