Unacceptable to have no combat/movement/mount sounds for 6 weeks!

I don't understand why the sound issue which is fixed in the PTS could not be applied in a hotfix.
It's unacceptable that Mac users have had this issue for 6 weeks and will only getting it in two weeks time.... That's 2 months of the sound bug!
