✭✭Well, they mostly abandoned Eso pc version because of the anti bot measures they added into the game. The final straw was adding the delete limit after that they stopped spamming in zone chat all together on pc. They have the means to detect, botting programs. I seen a discussion on the forums here talking about them doing it on consoles a few days ago. Someone was posting something about how they were doing it which can't be detected. I would imagine they will start spamming text chat on the consoles when it finally comes out. They will possibly continue to leave us pc players alone because its too much of a risk. We pc players can report them with ease, and its much easier for them to ban the botters with pc version then it would be on consoles. Consoles lack the most important feature mouse plus the lack of addons. A lot of players might not have a keyboard to do it with ease. So basically Consoles lack the things that have gotten rid of them on the pc version.
Another important thing this game costs them money, they have to buy it in order to bot it. Each account they have to buy it. They have measures in place that bans game codes that have been bought with stolen credit cards which is what other gaming companies need to do. These stolen credit cards were used to buy accounts . Microsoft/sony possibly does not have this and I believe one would need a xbox/psn account in order to play console version.
Point that most of us might agree on is bots are a menace most mmos will have them. I really like that Zenimax was able to really hurt them, stopping most of the problem. There might be some on pc still but they will not advertise in text chat on pc which is the best thing.Edited by Thevampirenight on August 1, 2016 6:43AMPC NA

✭I had to PM the owner of a PSN community because he was not checking it and a gold seller was advertising on it and I have seen one or 2 in the scammers list but those are dealt with within a day they exist on consoles...PS4 NA

mmcgibbo✭✭✭It's legal to buy gold? Pretty sure all those sites are scammers anyways. Had one message me on psn a long time ago. Went to the website and it had countless flawless reviews. Knew it was BS so I googled the website name and all sorts of real reviews showed that it was a scam and they were stealing people's money. I feel like it would be an instant ban thing the second they sent you the gold, that is, if they even send it to you in the first place0

Never seen this. Sony actually started upping their security a while ago. I've maybe gotten spam from a bot once, and that was long before ps4 even came out, on ps vita. Since then, nothing at all.
