Maintenance after effects (or affects).. wow!

Yes, there are many posts every week about maintenance, issues or whatnot. So, I'm just throwing this out there. It's my 4th or 5th month, maybe 4th, now with ESO, and every week or weeks that I can recall, there are always some kind of issues following a maintenance or patch period. So, we just had the maintenance yesterday and today and the such, and by golly, there always seem to be more issues. Yesterday evening in the voice chats with my guildmates, I've never heard so much god*beep*, f*beep*, son of a *beep* and so on about constant loading screen pop-ups, abilities not working with pressed and lagging. For the past couple of hours today, yes, definitely more issues of same returning, but seems more often now. Being constantly thrown in loading screens while enemies are attacking still and falling off the map and seemingly into oblivion. Now, the loading screens have been occurring consecutively or back to back. I'm having problems at times to get my character to do any attack. I can't redraw my greatsword. I can't pick up loot stuff or materials at times. I'm also being warped back to a previous position at time because of lagging. I'm having to log off and on more today just to reset and get my character to work right.

This is slowly chipping at my nerve everyday. So, the term "maintenance." Isn't it suppose to be to maintain something to keep it working right or to improve or to fix something to have it work better and not really to make it worst. Right.. am I missing something here? Lol! Just throwing this out there and food for some kind of thoughts, if you would..

Patches are more about fixing in game issues than maintenances, maintenances is more about rebooting the servers and such.

I am now considering random loading screens as part of game and accept lags, random loading screen as developers inability to fix.

This mega server technology can not handle increased number of Players, may be ESO is now doing well and lot of new players are joining.

Game is working on pc Better now than PS4 or Xbox, may be because new players are mostly console players. Recently i checked in pc, Cyrodil performance is much better and almost no Random loading screens.

Lags. Loading bugs may not solve unless ZOS add new servers.

It's easier to switch it off and on again than it is to track down the memory leaks

Also, FYI, it's "after-effects"... so you were right the first time.

Affect is the verb, effect is the noun. More people screw that up than get it right, so it's an incredibly common mistake.

ZOS posted the lag and load screens are caused by a questlog bug more quests in your lig the worse your game will perform. Drop all your active quests and will run fine....

Worked once. Sorc better. Nightblade no change. DK with no quests is rekd. Templar no change. Still takes 3 mins just to see the banker in Rawlka.

Last night on Xbox one I could barely play the game in Cyrodiil. I logged off early because of the lag. Everybody was skipping all over the place. I deleted all of my quests and it did not help. I thought maintenances were supposed to help but this time it's like they broke something.

Oh wow.. still pretty bad. This evening runs in the dungeons were a mess. I kept pressing for the heavy attacks, but a lot of the times, only light was happening instead. Other times, I'm trying to attack, but nothing happens. More lags, I guess. Getting thrashed by the enemies more times than I could swing my sword. Sheesh.. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. Fingers cross, I guess..

I personally just avoid the word unless I know for sure.

boys and girls dont you know u need to do the following

while walking use AOE and heal .... loading screen .... loading screen...loading screen... Ohh my life is half way now i didn't die this time awesome kill... and repeat ....

i do hate it when your in dungeons as the main healer and following happens ..

press heal... your characters waives ...no don't put your arm up and down heal damm it..press heal.... no don't wave heal ..press heal again and again and again while yelling HEAL !##%% HHHEEAAAALLL YOU STUPID *^&&@&*(#*(*()@#*()&#@ ...AAAa $%%# @# great everybody is dead its a wipe........
