It is not necessarily about greed. The price could very well be about preventing changing race on a whim. At that, they have business people who have the final word on these prices and their choices on pricing everything else has seemed to work as prices have not dropped with the exception of the occasional sale brief on something.

Or they could have just made it cheaper and limits the change to, say, once every 90 days. Would have achieved the same. There are many ways they could have limited people changing without making the price so high
