Not really happy. Constant crashes in cyrodiil, group finder for dungeons still not working properly, insane lag, load screens and the list goes on. Only reason i still play is because im a huge elder scrolls fan and have too much time and money invested in this game to just give up.
Anybody got a group? LFG, anybody? Hello?

I play with great people, so I'm always happy when I click the log off button. Also I keep in mind that its only a game, so I don't really take the occasionnal performance issues too close to the heart.

    - Trials on my magicka nightblade and my stamina templar are always a great time. Also Farming Sanctum Ophidia and Maw of Lorkhaj for all that damn sweet gear with a great group and those kinda moments when after 4 hours you start talking about your dog and cat chasing each other in the middle of the night...
    - Doing fun stuff in 4-man dungeons like 2-manning/going without healers or tanks/etc, or trying to beat our previous speed run time, or sometimes I'd try to solo some of them when none of my mates are online
    - PvP on my favorite magicka sorcerer or my less favorite stamina nightblade is always a hell of a blast : trying to take over a district by myself defended by a zerg (and failing most of the time), going zerg busting all around Cyrodiil with a small group, meeting a nice guy and duelling for an hour then talking about builds
    - Testing out new builds and theorycrafting is always rewarding in the end, especially when someone who you duelled sends you a message and asks you how the hell you did what you just did
    - Completing vMA always makes me as happy as a little kid (getting useless weapons is a bit less fun but hey RNGesus/Fa-Nui Ren will smile at my efforts some day... I hope !
    - Levelling up my stamina DK and my stamina Sorcerer/Collecting ressources to gear them up is the only boring part, but hey I look on the bright side !

All in all, this game is a blast.

I'm not happy with this game bcz group finder is soo broken and in cyrodil lag becomes a factor when battles start getting big.

I wouldn't phraze it this way, but it's pretty interesting that casual, single-player-mode players love the game.

People who spend their time in groups/competitive pve/pvp have far more concerns.

Does that mean that groups/competitive(sic) pve/pvp players are going to quit? It would certainly make things a lot easier for us casual, single-player-mode players. Plus it would make Cyrodil and IC so much easier to deal with. :)

No, what is telling is the number of people saying they don't have any performance or other issues with the game and that they're happy playing it. If your experience is different then that's a real problem for you, but don't insult other players because they don't share your problems or your unhappiness with the game.

Haven't really stopped playing since April 2014 which is pretty amazing for me since once I finish a game I usually just move on to something else. Guess this is the nature of ORPGs. I always wonder what the lag is that people in the US experience on the PC-NA server. Being an Aussie my ping is constantly 200+ in PvE and stuck at 300 in PvP and yet I've never had an issue with that.

I am not happy with this game but I am not unhappy about it either. Just really indifferent to it now for reasons too many to mention.

The game is gorgeous and I do love the Elder Scrolls Series. But this game is going in a direction I dislike.

Tbh, I suppose I did like this game but I now dislike how it is being managed. Not the game, but the running of it.

I don't think there has ever been a single day where I punched the air, high fived and said, "yesssssssssss!" after clearing a dungeon or embarking on a prolonged and arduous quest.

It was more of a metaphoric mopping of the brow, having a long cool drink while the ice rattled in the shaking glass in my twitching hands and promising myself, "never again!"

    This game gnikcuf frightens me.

The devs sent me an in-game email during the beta process asking me what you are asking here.

I ticked the boxes accordingly on a scale of 1 to 10 with the bias near one. In the comments field I wrote all of the above.

That was two and a half years ago and I am still saying it. I am still here and no you cannot have my stuff.

    Moving on...

rarely play anymore. For the past 6 months or so PvP was my main play time but a combination of direction of the game with each dlc, the lag, and the ongoing situation around a combination of exploits and out right cheating has simply beat the fun out of me. I play occasionally but the fun seems to be gone for me

I think it's healthy to be critical about things you love - and i share your attitude a lot.

Too bad a big chunk of content became a grindable must-do. Makes me hate VWGT for example, and it totally blew me away the first couple times i've done it.

I sense hostility :( Anyways, my point was that laid back players will less likely encounter bugs and lag unless it's extremely obvious. How many people know about bugged out VMA no-death achievement? How many know about blacked out doors bug (or feature) in Sanctum that makes catching up with your group a nightmare? How many know about latency issues in Cyrodiil because they don't have a ping meter?

I'm very happy that majority of players are content - it means that the direction towards casual gameplay has been a wise choice. It just makes me sad since that's not the way i like to play )

Generally happy when it lets me play, but getting into Dungeons lately has been a nightmare. Just today I got a group instantly after I queued, then queued again and couldn't get a group despite sitting still and waiting for an hour or so before giving up (and all my characters are tanks). More often than not I can't find a group for the life of me, and unless that changes very soon I'll be voting differently on any similar polls in the future.

I'm glad people like this game. I really wanted to like this game since it first came out and I always try it after some time but I can't help but always be dissappointed. I'm a reasonable guy and I don't have unrealistic expectations but this game is just completely unimaginative. The combat and skill trees are so bland and there are so few. Joining factions (fighters, mages, thieves, etc) does nothing for customization and character development ...they lack any kind of meaning and depth, basically you just get convenient skills (pursuasion for example). That sums it up perfectly actually, I found this game lacked depth. I am really hoping they add more to the game, but for now this game is just not for me.

Look, I love this game it's fun and it's what I look forward to every day. I am upset at bugs and wrothgar being unplayable, and balance issues in pvp but that's why we voice our concerns on forums to make this game even better!

I like to split up my time doing different things so I don't get burnt out. One week I'll pvp only then another pve when I get bored or frustrated with that I'll just farm like crazy! Always something to do and I enjoy it all. Sometime I just dance naked in daggerfall and talk to guild <.< it's not weird!

Game is threatened very seriously by three things :
    1. Technical issues (lag, clunkiness of weapons swaps, abilities not working (take flight, all charges including werewolf's Pounce), door openings and in Cyrodiil...)
    2. Apathetic PVP development (close to no investment/development in PVP mechanics, no PVP DLC since Imperial City and no true PVP dlc), subpar PVP economy which makes dedicated PVP players poor and unable to compete (gold materials are out of reach)
    3. Apathetic Combat Mechanics development, including balance and build diversities. Lack of vision in the future of the combat system. Need of a critical approach to launch core mechanisms. Problems identified by some players, with hours spent in detailed posts have taken TWO YEARS to "solve" (aka Heavy Armor, Stamina...)

No the Gaming Experience is not good, and I often just disconnect and leave the games for week after loosing to lag and lag hacks (lag even in small scale, against some very precise players : they don't lag, you do). Many reports and still nothing !!! Very rare to have a live talking gm to deal with issues.

I stopped playing for a few months a while back, long load screens and too many bugs frustrated me (PC).

I came back about a month ago and am having great fun.

I started a new character and it was a pleasure going through the quest line, so so different from the buggy mess on release.

I've almost re-learnt how to play my sorc again too :)

I subbed when I came back and they are crafty buggers :) There's no way I will ever play this game without the crafting bag now I've tried it hence they have another ongoing subscription :)

Still some bugs but no where near the amount there used to be, very very happy at the moment

I am happy with the quests and the game in general, but in contrast I am more and more annoyed about the glitches and bugs, the incredible fps drop OVER TIME and the lags in high population areas. I know even f2p games that handle the load much better.

In short, the game concept is OK, but the inferior programming and quality of the game itself drags it down into the depths of Oblivion. They should have kept the people, who are able to fix the game itself. Instead now, they only employ people, who make more DLC, and produce even more bugs.

On the long run, this will kill the MMO, that is very sad, if you think about it. Because at some time, people simple have enough of the connectivity and log in problems. And then they will quit.
