Hey guys, Im thinking about buying the dark brotherhood, but I have a question, is it an end game dlc, or can I use it in the leveling process?
Thanks!

You are scaled on gold coast and you can totally use it to level. DB quest line and dailies as well.

I recommend you buy that new Tamriel Gold edition. It'll add all the dlc's to your whole account (which includes EU+US) for like 50 or 60 bucks. I'm actually planning to bug feedback about this issue. The reward for buying the dlc's early I'm essentially paying 2 times as much, for 1/2 the value... so 4 times what I should. While I remain subbed at all times there is something about this that irks me. The main reason that I buy the subs is purely for the future when I might find I want a break from the game. You can't help but get burnout on a game after playing many years - but I also still love old games and want to have access to everything I've paid for. (DCUO, STO, etc are good examples).

Hey, thanks for the input! The problem with te gold edition for me is that I already have some dlcs and Im not north american, so unfortunatelly it will be not just 60 bucks for me :(, Brazil input taxes even in the console's letters and colors, you know... Lol

That's true, but it should be noted that you will be overlevelled for your alliance zones if you use a DLC zone to level. Once One Tamriel is out though, this should no longer be a problem.

I found that doing the expansions at vet levels (now post 50), was much more enjoyable. I did one run through on Orisium for leveling and just felt like I was behind...I struggled through Old Orsinium at the end of the zone main quest chain.

However, when I tried Orsinium post 50...it just felt right. My advice is to work your way through the main leveling zones, up to an including Coldharbour/Molag Bal. Then when you're 50 or close to it, then hit the expansion.

I suppose your mileage may vary, but my experience was saving the expansions for the end-game was the way to go.

As to DB, it seems like a short expansion - I finished all the achievements in about 4 days. It is a little grindy when it comes to the all the contracts to get to the next level. Right now, finding groups for the world bosses is easy, so try and get those out of the way. The rest of the content can be done solo for the big achievements (like the costumes and the titles).

Hey guys thanks for the tips, Im thinking about using it to catch up when I feel underleveled at the main course, like now. Im lvl 30 and my quests are lvl 32-33, and when I get lvl 32 I will return to main maps!

It's ok, but still good to have. I think most of the quests are fairly short, but the repeatable dailies give good XP towards leveling. There are four dailies giving from 8.8 to 18k XP per. Particularly, the daily assassin contract. It's just a quick grab of the contract from the book, get the location, wayshrine there, find the target with the black hand icon above him or her, quickly take out that target and return to the the DB sanctuary to collect your XP and other rewards. You get a good 8.8k XP a pop and you can do it consecutively all day long, versus the other ones being once a day. It's just the fastest and easiest way to get XP, if you don't mind the monotony of it, since you can literally do that contract all day long.

Aggree that while you CAN run the scalable dlc in your normal run to 50, its not efficient. The run to 50 is already going to risk getting overlevelled so adding more content in that run makes it worse.

Also buring your db and tg rewards on lvl 50 or below gear is not worthwhile.

However, definitely go to db asap to run the very into and get the blade of woe. Its useful for mayhem at any level.
