Why Are Nightblades so OP!

Ok I been arguing with one my guildies off and on who constantly complaining about NB class being OP he says we are the easiest class in the game but yet he always dying to a NB the irony plus he's a Templar

They're easy because the majority of players are just re rolled noobies who still don't know what they're doing. The good ones though......they're monsters...

Because Stamina can stack as much weapon damage as possible without worrying too much about their recovery due to them being able to dump their magicka on things like cloak, without a worry in the world -- while magicka's dodge roll, break free, block and sprint is highly limited.

Templars can easily pull 15k+ single target baseline dps with jabs. I've pulled 160k aoe dps before with just steel nado and endless hail on stamplar. For top dps possible a stamplar requires multiple dots being maintained. Just spamming jabs and steel nado can do a huge amount of damage, but properly managing dots with stamplar can take you over the top. Especially if you have BiS for whatever your setup is.

All things considered, Templars are without a doubt the easiest class to use. Bow/Dual wield or 2hander for pvp is just insane. You do so much with templars thanks to their critical rating increase on aydric spear ability, plus the chance to proc for 25% extra damage when jabs has a 8 tick dot I think. The CPs work really good for stamplars specifically because they can focus in on Poison/physical damage and Damage over Time which will increase the baseline dps of all their skills used in stamplar rotations. (Rending slash, poison inject, endless hail, biting jabs, dawnbreaker, etc..)

But to sort of justify NB being OP, I guess they are one of the better classes. In PVP they are pretty beast thanks to their stealth and gap closer. Also I think NB Khajiit is the only combo that can reach 90%+ critical rating. I may be wrong on that though.

Basically this.

If you're going up against newbies who don't know what they're doing, then the NB has a significant advantage. If you're actually going up against competent players, NB has almost no margin for error.

Nightblades are only op against bad players. The better the player the easier time they will have dealing with nightblades. They are good but no where near op.

Just a day ago i saw a post that was sayng that templars are the most op class, i'm so sick of these discussions, as i said before, some people will say that sorcs are the most op, some will say that nightblade is, some will say that templars are, other will say that dk's are, maybie you are just a bad player, and you change your mind about what's the most op class based on how many times you were killed by one specific class?? Maybie, but who am i to judge.

I disagree on Magicka NBs. They have the capacity to be pretty bulky.

I'll dispute the first half. NB sustain can be stupidly strong. I actually find it hard to go onto other classes, because my sustain suffers so much. That said, yeah, reducing NB DPS would kill the class. It's fragile as **** (most of the time), but makes up for it in damage. Take away the damage, and they'd get smeared.

Magplars are in a good place right now. Decent in 1v1 fights but really excells as a part of a group. You can go in many directions with the build. Pure healer, long range caster, hybrid, upclose punturing sweeps spammer, tank, staff melee build etc...

Stamplars are not good at anything. Jabs hits harder than most skills but is easily dodge able and lacks anything to make it special. Punturing sweeps heals you aswell as snares you if you manage to land final hit. jabs provides the 2 second snare if you manage to land the final hit and increases your crit rating. I'd rather go dizzying swing bcz it's instant and if you land 1 you will most likely land 2 hits on an opponent. The templar ultimates are mainly for Magicka users. Major mending means I have to preemptively drop a rune or cleansing ritual which takes away the element of suprise. So you either choose to stealth kill without MM or lower your DPS dropping the rune that takes away your stealth. Most of the time i go with rally. BoL and radiant are very weak to a stamplar. a cheap purge is about the only advantage a stamplar has.

Magicka or stamina nightblades are good at killing targets and for either build your trump card , mass hysteria and cloak, is equally as effective.

I wouldnt call it "OP" since it mainly depends on the player, for example I suck at gaming (but once did manage to handle a one on one with a CP30 with my lv28 NB... yeah Im bragging... its my only achievement :'(...)... so even with a NB you can easily kill me in PVP... however NB are without a doubt the most fun class to play for me personally!!! And healing, I love to heal xD...
