Reinstalling ESO on Fresh Win10 System

I think I know what to do but what to reconfirm. I'm doing a complete system build and will be doing a fresh install of Win10, however, my games are installed on a separate drive G: in the system.

I believe all I have to do is copy the 'My Documents' "Elder Scrolls Online" folder from the old Win7 C: drive to the new Win10 'My Documents' drive to keep my original configurations and addons.

Next I rename the G: drive 'Launcher' folder to Launcher.old and then go to my ESO account and 'Download Game' and choose the G: drive ESO install location, then launch the Launcher and it should find the original ESO game files. After success, I delete Launcher.old folder completely.

Let me know if this is incorrect or if there is a better way. I just don't want to have to redownload the entire game again. ;)

Hello Adarklord! I just wanted to know, how the game runs on your Windows 10? I'll appreciate your time to share your experience

I'm asking this because I bought a new PC with win 10, and all games I perfectly ran on my 6 years old PC with win 7, are with a annoying input lag, and some other laggy stuff.... just wondering, cause a lot of people have this very same issue..

PD: new PC's specs are high

Game runs fine on win10 here, even with a mid-range card (750 Ti).

I've been running the game on Win 10 for about 5 months or so, no issues. I saw a pretty big performance increase when I swapped from 8 to 10, ~20 frame increase on my terribad computer. Since then I've built a new rig and have Win 10 professional on it, and average about 80 FPS in open world/4man content, and 30-60 in pvp/raid environments.

I don.t think so. Your new OS will not have your old games in the registry. Some games may not work . In those cases you will have to manually do it.
