So anyone want to do icp?

Currently hard to do vicp when ppl want you to already have exp in doing so. I would really like to do todays gold pledge as I have skipped both dlcs pledges for a while as ppl demand you to have cp501, hard mode done, speed challenfes etc to join there group and I just cannot gain exp if ive never given the chance to, anyone in na pc wanting to group?

Well I'm not saying it's not wrong for them to expect that in random dungeons but it is kind of expected behaviour when it's the daily right? good luck finding people, I play console EU.

People are overestimating the difficulty anyway, it's like it's their first MMO

The dungeon not that hard, but there are a tremendous amount of scrubs in this game.

I understand the frustration of needing to have experience to run a dungeon, but you can't get experience without running it.

As a suggestion, learn and know all of the mechanics via YouTube or a dungeon guide, and, due to the fact that vICP is 80% mechanics, you'll be prepared (same goes for vWGT).

You have to be able to execute said dungeon mechanics though, or it's as good as having no experience. Like there's no point in knowing that you need to enter Dusk's portals while he's in the air if you aren't going to pay attention to where the portals are, and when he goes to the air.

Even if its your first time, and a group demands experience, say you don't have experience, but tell them you know the mechanics, and that if they don't believe you, you'll explain them to them. Even with a group of people new to the dungeon, so long as everyone knows the mechanics beforehand, it may not be the smoothest clear ever, but it can be done.

I've had dungeons with poor players too. A working community is a teaching community though, people should be more patient with other players. I've played MMOs for years and I'd only call a person a scrub if I wanted to hurt them but in terms of inexperienced or new players I still think about how others are experiencing the game too. If they do badly they will notice. If they get treated like crap they will notice too and that will hinder their growth.

I read something yesterday or two days ago about a tutorial for players to learn basic dungeon mechanics. they could even update one of the many small dungeons they have in game for it.

To an extent, the normal dungeons are "tutorial" dungeons. The three dungeons in the first zoned (FG, SC and BC) have fairly basic mechanics, and each zone you go up, the mechanics get a bit more complicated.

...then you get to the vet versions.

I spent 4 hrs in there and got to lord warden and just couldn't do it, went through two groups and alas no luck, got booted out of icp so couldn't even adv in chat to finish the run because I was last in group...
