I didn't include them, because I plan on trying them out next patch with some new sets coming out.

Though pets normally suck, these sets provide massive boosts which may make them viable. Need to acquire the gear and use it to actually confirm.

Ill speak to PVE. Magic Sorcs are doing just fine here with DPS, despite the palpable rage on the forums.

Must have Sorc skills: Bound Aegis (magic boost), Cystal Frags (for Most builds), Mages Wrath (class execute), Boundless storm (Mobility and AOE damage), Liquid Lightening (AoE damage over time), Overload (great single target ultimate). Not saying you will run these all at once. Depends on what you are doing.

Nice to have Sorc Skills: Power Surge (must have in VMA, helpful with survivability but a DPS loss everywhere else), Hardened ward (same comment as surge), Dark Conversion (pretty solid burst heal and helps with resources, nice in VMA), Rune Cage (very long stun, again useful in VMA), Negate (occasionally useful, but I rarely slot it).

Must have - Non Sorc Skills, pretty universal for magic: Elemental Blocklade (prob best ground aoe in game), Force Pulse (main Spam), Inner light (crit and magic buff), Elemental ring/pulsar (traditional AOE magic spam), Meteor (powerful damage ultimate)

There is no MASSIVE boost. Why is everyone always so hysterical about the tiniest things ?
The new Necropotence results in merely ~1500 more magicka than the current version and this is mainly due to the V16 enchants that you can put on it now.

Is this a massive boost to you ? This changes nothing at all. Pets scale so poorly with magicka, that you won't notice any damage difference. There is no boost

I was able to test everything and pets are not any better than they are now. You can have 100k magicka and it's still not worth it. And it never will

Pets only scale off of Max Magicka. If you stack a ton of Max Magicka (ridiculous amount) it may be enough to make pets viable.

I agree with you. Pets are seriously terrible. Especially Pet Sorcs.

It's not that I doubt you.. But. Good luck with that man.

No matter what we do, Pet AI is still horrible.

* Pets frequently get lost
* They tend to 'forget' about a target once stunned.
* Their specials are projected like 5 second before hey go off. Has tail swipe ever worked on anyone?
* Their damage is horrible except for maybe the storm atronach and the maw daedroth.

Bound Toggle... I mean, Bound Aegis.

EDIT: I forgot, Bugged Overload... Oh look, I did it again. I meant Energy Overload.

Have you guys seen the new Alcast build for next patch with pets and 55-70k max Magic? It's totally insane. Haha.

I like my idea much better, but he has a cool build and I hope it works out for him. Imperial Physique is not my type of set.

Viable, but practically everything else also scales off of max magicka so it'll probably be worse than whatever else you can think of.

Well that is the point. Building up a viable Pet Sorc isn't done to have a strong setup. There is no such thing as a really strong Pet Sorc build because pets themselves take up four slots and are not even worth two.

It's for the challenge of using a Pet Sorc and actually killing someone with more that 100CP! I'll be 1vXing with it. Should be possible if my Max Magicka exceeds 50K because:
• Pets can actually deal damage that enemies will feel
• Big shields
There is more to it but I want to try it out myself before spoiling the build's secrets

Anyone know if Necropotence has jewelry now?

Offense will be powerful on the build I have. Believe me. It is a very unique setup and I have never seen anything like it before in Cyrodiil. I am almost 100% confident that it will work very nicely if I can acquire the gear I need.

1vX (I just say solo play) is simply the way I play ESO. It is typical and I have a very hard time giving props to most anyone who makes videos on it because it's normal gameplay to me.

If my Pet Sorc is as strong as I envision it to be, then I will post a video of it in action.

You know how we all say Magicka DK is terrible in PvP? And then there are those 0.1% of the population who make it work like they're OP.... that's honestly how I feel about this build. Thank you for the cute compliment, but this build is going to be deadly

I am a pet Sorcerer who plays solo 1vx all the time and I usually win or at least survive. But we will see, what you come up with you cute genius.

I need to run vAA.... Not sure if I can get a group to do this. Hopefully I can pick up any five pieces of Necropotence with Infused/Divines traits for cheap at the guild trader.

Also have lots of vDSA farming to do too. This'll be easy for me because I have no issue grouping with three other strong players.

Wait for console to get the update, give me some time, and be pleasantly surprised

Necropotence currently is the cheapest dropped set in the game. Give it one or 2 days, and you'll have all pieces with the right traits. And you want the master staff I see I will probably never possess it.
And even if, it's not the best choice for my build. But the lightning staff is the most beautiful in the game.

I hope you're right. And yeah The Master's Lightning Staff is very cool for sure. Update 11 also adds Amberplasm for my other Magicka builds, and Velidreth for my Stamina builds.

I have a lot of grinding to do next patch for gear Hopefully this Pet Sorc experiment is worth it. I know I'd feel terrible if I was defeated by a Pet Sorc lol!

I would defeat you for sure. I take pride in being the strongest summoner that currently walks the surface of Tamriel.
But you are safe in your PS4 realm You have good chances to become the best on it, provided you are only half as good as you are confident.

Good thing I am three times as strong as I am confident. I'll PM you my build
