I am a Hydralisk
What are you?
A returning Xel'naga
One can play solo or in small groups and still zerg.
A build that has more counters than it does offenses?
If they jump into a pile of people, in which, you are also currently in, how hard is it to roll once in the opposite direction of them? If you are not in the radius of their shield explosion (provided it gets destroyed at a high frequency in the first place) you would otherwise be fine? How are you neutralized?
Sorry, I don't see what the point in saying this is wrong, without providing a real reason as to why.
Anyone with the capacity to get past a login screen, knows how to counter Blazing Shields.
"FACEPALM"
So what you are actually saying, is that this is a "I'm sick of Malubeth" thread, and not a "I'm sick of Blazing Shield" thread?
Or do you generally call something you don't like/understand an exploit?
Palm that face sir.
"SIGH"
Next time you make a thread (twice), make sure it references some point or question, instead of being a written summary of someone going "NGGGRRRHHHH" into the wind.
A lot of new people read these things as some sort of doctrine, god knows why. Throwing about 'exploit' casually without emphasizing exactly what you mean, is how we get uneducated witch hunts. We have too many of those at the moment.
Funny how everyone else knew exactly what I was talking about instead of cherry picking and trolling the thread.
Malubeth is broken and is a clear exploit. I wouldn't call Blazing an exploit, but we all know it's garbage and not working as intended especially when people stack their health purely so that this one ability does what it does. Now go troll someone else's thread.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eh0rAUwZSQ Trollplar is a pug killer. It will brutalize whole zergs of poorly built and disorganized players. But on the other side of that coin, a trollplar won't kill anyone in an experienced group, 1v1 a half decent player, escape once someone decides to stick to it, blah blah blah. Dying to a trollplar is basically killing yourself. Trollplars are frustrating to play against if you don't know how, but they are by no means op..
How to play against a trollplar:
- Focus his allies, leaving him for last. A trollplar is not much of a threat on his own but can take forever to kill. Fight around him as if he's not there.
- Keep your distance, denying him blazing shield damage and puncturing sweeps heals. Trollplars often do not run gap closers, making them kiteable. In the instance that he does run a gap closer, spread your group so that he can hit only one of you at a time.
- Chain ccs. Even if he is wearing reactive, less stam means less blocking, and cced without stam is still free time to damage them. Cc breaks also create windows to land damage under their shields. Trollplars have poor self-heals. You kill them by whittling down their health between shields until you can finally cc them and burst them down. Just keep in mind that they're going to be cycling between devouring swarms. You only have the time until their next swarm to kill them!

You one of the kids that thinks I care aren't ya. Let me know how that works out.
Huh? I've never actually cared about anything you do; literally, I don't know you, I don't recall fighting you... You are taking posts a bit too personally. I merely pointed out that solo and small group players zerg too.I will Zerg. I will Malubeth if I ever get a set. I will spam crap abilities. I will rek people and I will die a lot. An I don't give a flying Fbomb because my self worth is wrapped up in public opinion. End of story have a nice day buh bye.
So what you're saying is... nerf trollplars?Ok ... not for nothing ... but you'd be surprised who I killed on my trollplar back in the day. Maybe they've had time to learn, but when the add-on that showed dps for group members was a thing and we had a bar to judge the trollplar against, it was a sight to behold.
@Zheg how many people were involved in those fights, and were there a lot of AoEs in play? I ask because you play large scale.
I would venture to say that if a group aoe bombed/spammed into another group containing a trollplar and died to significant damage from him, then they yolo suicided into him the same as the pugs on @Baconlad 's flag.
I had the worst kinda trollplar on me a few weeks ago. Attacked him, noticed his health, sheathed my weapons and walked away. Now what does that dude do? He switches to his backbar where he has a freaking ice staff and keeps rooting me all the way from bleakers to chalman. And I can't switch to rapids because he keeps attacking me.
10 minutes into that root and chill and his buddies arrived to kill me.
That's a real trollplar.
Wow! That is rough...
@Ghostbane not sure why you bothered to try to explain anything. Way more patience than I would have exercised.
