Exactly why I won't sub. Actually I'm gonna sub for 1 month next month just to dye my costumes and never do it again. Take that ZOS!

Edit: mind you, it's mostly the condition of cyrodiil that puts me off supporting them any further

Jokes on u when all ur costume dye is removed when ur subscription ends..

Did they say the dyes are removed when your sub ends? I didn't see that.

All DLCs gained thru subscribtion, Craft Bags and other subscribtion benefits are stripped when a sub runs out. And since the costume dye is for subs only you can only assume that the same rule goes for that..

The only thing that happens is that you can't dye any more costumes. They don't revert your dyed costumes back to their original colors, just like they don't dump your mats back in your backpack when you lose the Crafting Bags due to sub running out.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I have yet to experience any of the game issues everyone complains about, not even In pvp. So eso plus for me is well worth it. I'm gonna end up spending 15 bucks a month on crown store items anyway, I might as well get the extra craft bag and experience increase while I'm at it.

I pay because I want to support the game developers!

Also, the perks are amazing! :)

Crafting Bags (no brainer) and the upcoming costume dyeing system pretty much closes the loop, if yer not subbed by then you are just gonna be in forums whining about free market capitalism etc. etc.

I've been subbed a long time. I kept my sub up for quite a few months to "support the devs" in their attempt to make this game playable.

It's been months, I've paid out plenty for an unplayable game. But I'm done for a while until I see a change in the stability of the game. Essentially I paid Zos $100 or so and got nothing for my money! All I want is consistently playable end game PVP and PVE. I don't give a *** about questing. Just group stuff with my friends. But it's always buggy as soon as things get busy on the map.

I think many people have become institutionalized in a way. You grade the performance of the game against how terrible it can be. When it slightly improves, even though compared with other games it's still terribly bugged, we justify it as being ok, and keep playing and paying.

I recently picked up a couple of other games this month due to DBs disastrous ps4 launch and I realized just how broken this game is compared to many other AAA titles.

If they fixed the various game breaking bugs, I'd play this game till my eyes bleed, and re-sub immediately. Im a huge Elder Scrolls fan, and this game has the potential to be absolutely fantastic.

Furthermore, I know this game can be near perfect, because between week two of launch right up to IC launch on console, it was! The core of the game was smooth and bug free. (For my friends and I on ps4).

I feel like I've given enough to their cause, and I haven't been rewarded for my faith in them. If they don't get their act together, I can't support them any further.

I resubbed after I came back from GW2 to ESO. Even before the crafting bag, having access to all DLC and the crowns coming with the sub....it seems worth the price.
Now with the crafting bag and the upcoming costume-dyes it seems to be a no-brainer for me personally.

I really like to support a game developer if I enjoy their game. And I do enjoy ESO a lot. It even runs quite smoothly with the 64-bit client and all maxed-settings. Okay, I am not PVP-ing, but the Cyro performance is a whole different matter anyway. If you mainly are focused on PVP, than subbing might seem out of the question.
