Where is Amoncrul?

I have been waiting in Memorial District of IC for Amoncrul, but all I ever see is Nunatak and Volghass. I thought Nunatak was supposed to be in another district? Has Amoncrul been moved also?

This is one part of the game I don't like. The hours spent waiting for a boss to spawn.

Amoncrul, the giant coldfire bone colossus, used to spawn in the Memorial District. Volghass also spawned here.

Nunatak used to roam in the Nobles District, along with Baron Thirsk.

Since the Dark Brotherhood released, many updates were made to the Imperial City. One of the changes made it so any district boss can roam in any district. They also deal much less damage in general now so none of them are much of a challenge to solo anymore

Not to cast doubt on this. But can you solo the Lich boss? It's the last one I have to do and everyone avoids it.

I soloed Mazaluhad back when I had a weak build, 350ish CP, and a PvP setup to fight gankers who wanted to jump me during my boss fights. It was also something I loved to do back when these bosses were actually difficult to kill alone. They were nerfed a lot in Dark Brotherhood, specifically the tough ones. If you look at my guide, I'd now rate none of them higher than a 6.....

Short answer to your question: Many times

It may be possible for the Horrors to roam, but I am only seeing Volghass and Nunatak in Memorial. I have been watching for 3 hours as groups come in and kill the boss and a new one respawns.

I really need to know a district so I can wait for the spawn and be ready to join when a group attacks.

I first thought, all bosses can roam all districts. But that's not true, they simply changed their location. It's the following:

Memorial District: Nunatak the frost Atronach/Volghass the flesh Atronach

Arena District: King Khrogo/Gorgoloch the Destroyer

Arboretum: Ysenda Resplendant the Harvester/Lady Malygda the Spider

Temple District: Mazaluhad the Lich/Immolator Charr the Ogrim (Currently bugged and unable to move)

Noble District: Amoncrul the Bone Colloss/Baron Thirsk the Twilight

Elven Garden: The screeching Matron/Zoal-The ever wakeful

Mazaluhad is my favorite boss, he is the most fun to fight and maybe the most challeging for solo players after all these nerfs to bosses.

Keep in mind, bosses get a damage boost for any player that is fighting. So it's better to solo them, or you can get one shotted by certain abilities. For example Lady Malygdas Lightning strikes or Ysendas Subjugation.

Fair enough. I just "solod" warden from 40% health on my healer lol. I consider myself pretty beast but those IC bosses just school me. I've done the Atro and the spider but the others wrecked me everytime.

Will have a read now and give it a whirl tomorrow.

@Dracane Smart man. I can't believe I never noticed. Passed them off as random spawns and didn't look back, while I kept killing the same bosses....

@DRXHarbinger Cool. Didn't think about it before I linked the thread but don't post on it! Would rather not have it necroed. The bosses just aren't what they used to be imo. Once you see how they fight it is a matter of avoiding their deadliest moves. Screeching Matron used to be literally impossible before the nerfs

Good luck with those bosses! I have vids of me soloing each of them as well in the guide. During a few clips I die early on, because it was my first time fighting many of those bosses and I forgot to edit out deaths. Stated everything in the descriptions. I think that guide is pretty awesome and also an amazing tool especially for a newer player (~300CP) to have if they attempt this.

I'm sure you will beat them all.

Warden is the easiest boss in the game. But not everyone could do that, so you are still beasty

Actually, you can solo all bosses that have no forced death mechanics such as Nerien'eth

Warden is the easiest boss in the game. But not everyone could do that, so you are still beasty Actually, you can solo all bosses that have no forced death mechanics such as Nerien'eth

Yup. Some Vet dungeon bosses can be exceptionally difficult though! A few of the bosses force-kill mechanics can also be DPSed through using a bunch of DoT+Ult at the correct time. Nerien'eth may be one of them but I haven't attempted it before because I never really felt like lol.
