I recall seeing a video of the developers in a conference room when the game went live, as they watched the first players logging on. Anybody have a link to that? I'm feeling nostalgic!

I think that was buried in a wearhouse full of crates somewhere underground after the angry Joe rebuttals crash vids were released .

Yea, it wasn't an in game video, but rather a video of some devs watching as people logged in for the first time. Kind of a celebration. It might have crashed 15min later, but I don't care. I would still like to see it again.

What game is this!? That many players nearby would cause my PS4 to freeze so hard it'd corrupt my hard drive! Probably would explode into flames as well!

I fight for the Daggerfall Covenant. When I enter that town, it is deserted, save for a few NPCs who always seem to show up 30sec - 2min late. Sometimes if you try to enter through a door too fast, a prompt will appear which says "invalid location", and the only way to get through that door afterward is to restart the game and relog. There are plenty of loading screens and lag to go around too....

Seeing ESO function in an acceptable, working condition is one thing which I don't get to see much of anymore on PS4.

That video showcased ESO performing amazingly with an absolutely incredible amount of players all around. I still can't believe what I saw. There's a reason that so many threads are about performance issues lately

And again..... sorry about your thread lol. Would still love to see more early vids!

No worries. It's cool. I know this is a public forum. I guess I just wanted to have one positive thread out of the hundreds of negative ones, lol. I really enjoy the game, and was looking for that video. No idea why, I just remembered it today and how cool I thought it was at the time.

my 1st day was stuck in the 'training' coldharbour prison. (xbox EU)

there were as many if not more people there and everytime i ran towards a target it was killed, so i spent hours just running arround aimlessly LOL

until i met someone on a high elf sorc, who gravitated to my khajit NB (we were the only non nords in coldharbour) and we ran the content together for 2 weeks! aaaah the memories

By the time we reached stonefalls it was practically empty because everyone had logged off 4 the night!
