ZOS, please check out the resuts of this poll later, I bet many people (including me) would really be ok with a quarter without a new DLC content and prefer a BUG FIX&LAG FIX QUARTER.
Seriously if you would fix all the major bugs and fix the lag in Cyrodiil, focus more on preventing bug exploits in Cyrodiil, hacking, botting, I bet that would attract more new players and make old players happier than a new DLC content!!
Just one quarter full focus on that and the game would be just 100 % awesome!!!!

well while agree with you that they cannot fix anything without money, from a long therm perspective they also can not keep the player base growing or at least not decreasing with more and more bugs not being fixed6 -

It'd be great if I could actually play it without ~10FPS, loading screens for every 8 seconds of walking, stutters on any death or if too many Destruction Staff skills are used, and a million other performance issues and bugs..... so disappointed at the state of the game. It pisses off existing customers and scares away 99% of new customers.
This is likely the most unhealthy thing possible for the game's future. Console is an utter mess, and high-end PC is not much better

Although I really enjoy this game, I just cannot recommend it to friends and feel honest. If I bought the game today and saw how often it crashes (on Xbox), I would return it. Even without the crashing and sudden loading screens there are still problems that make the game frustrating to play.
Its such a shame. So much effort has gone into this game and if it lost even 80% of its current major bugs, it would be one of the best games I've ever played.
The DLCs are great but they just cannot be enjoyed fully when there are so many bugs.1 -

Unfortunately only 18 people, at the time of writing this, has bothered to cast a vote on this important issue and, as far as I know, that is not statistically significant. I don't know enough about statistics to say for certain how many votes are significant, but big polling institutes usually call up/ask/ poll about 2000 people, when they do surveys. That may be way more than you need for statistic significance and probably is the polling institutes way of "selling" their polls to the general public. I feel so sad for console players, I read tons of forum posts about crashes, fortunatelly on PC EU my game did not crash very long now, but I agree with you that this is the best game I ever played (I do not remember playing a game, that would keep me enjoying it such a long time as ESO does). If ZOS would fix at least the major bugs and solve the hacking issues more strongly, the game would be just awesome!!0 -

I am not a programmer, but I know that fixing bugs in such a huge game must be very hard and that fixing one bug can cause another bug somewhere else, but still...come on ZOS, you did such an awesome job with this game, you have to be able to fix it if not to 100 % then at least to 80 - 90 % awesomeness!!

well, I might be wrong, but I am not sure if I can agree with you, now ZOS divides their staff resources to 1. bug fixes, 2. creating new content every quarter. If they would relocate it all to bug fixes, 3 months are not long time, but enough to do that.0 -

Do you know what biased mean ? It means instead of being neutral so people can effectively vote for whatever answer they believe, the poll is worded so that one answer is obviously more desirable than other(s).
A truly neutral poll would have been:
Would you like a fix bug quarter or DLC quarter
1. Fix bugs
2. DLC

No, if you want bugs fixed you need to exploit them in a way so people go cry on the forums. Then we'll get an emergency hotfix applied during prime time.
It's pathetic how long of the bugs in this game have gone unfixed. Invisible people in dungeons and raids, pets spawning above ceilings, broken animations where your light attack doesn't go off while your character is doing the animation, broken run speed (which was confirmed by ZOS) since the Thieves guild patch, gap closers (no explanation needed), CP 160 mail (I bet this would've been fixed already if you got gold with every mail), DK chains not working unless doing a heavy attack, synergies not working properly when standing in healing springs etc. etc. etc.
The list goes on. As a coder I can fully understand that it's difficult to get a good balance between releasing new content and fixing broken things, but this is beginning to become a bad joke. The problem right now with Zenimax is that they're adding more content which also adds more bugs. Things get reported but it doesn't get acknowledged or fixed. The support is horrendous. I haven't seen a proper response to any of the reported bugs on the forums for a while. There's only response in feedback threads about new content. Zenimax is making decisions and they don't seem to give a damn about what the community thinks in regards of things getting fixed. Meanwhile a thread on the forums where people are (rightfully so) reporting problems with the new female light armor are getting replies and that will get fixed. I'm completely lost on what Zenimax is doing to be honest. There seems to be no proper prioritization in what they are fixing and what not.

Things like the multiple mundus stones should never have been in game until "next DLC". Bug fixes should be an ongoing process with major bugs getting proper priority and completely separate from DLC development1
