I know this is kind of silly, but I have found it to be enjoyable. I can see their health dropping , so a couple of quick heals are they are back to full as the guards pummel them.

I thought in this case, the guard would see you as helping a criminal flee, and attack you as well.

That's so true lol. Especially in the Grahtwood tree - it's hilarious since there's virtually nowhere to run and hide, and there's always someone spamming heals :D

Can you imaging trolling them on purpose? B)

Great Idea! From now on instead of reporting healing spam I'm just gonna go punch a guard in the face and run into the healing spam! Probably 100 times more effective than reporting them!

what but is it really like this? that if someone heals someone who is fighting with a guard, does the healer also get a bounty?
are you sure that it works like that? might be, but never heard about it..

    Seriously???

You report Healing Spam? I want to hang out with you.

But first reach down and pull that stick out.
It's one thing to spam all this in combat where it's expected but in banking areas where people have to go to do their banking and selling it is a rude distraction!
I could not agree more. Not even rude distraction but a lot of additional and in fact useless load on GPU when there is already heavy load from populated areas due to all the players around. Personally I like to be among people, but hate when they perform their "graphical actions" without purpose, like I hate when several people in same time come to bank area with their flying twilights + familiar + pets + sun balls or lightnings around. In such case I rather go elsewhere seeking emptiness and my PC is grateful :p .

Your bounty from healing criminals fleeing from guards will depend upon your "attack innocents" setting. If it's off then expect a nice bounty and a Benny Hill chase with the guards. If it's on then the guards will change to neutral and targetable (if they work same as NPCs) but won't fight you.

This is assuming it's changed from before where your heals wouldn't affect those being chased if you had the setting for on

Haaa.. yes, I do this. I hated it when I was running the Thieves' Guild's quests and getting pommeled by the guards. So, if I see someone being attacked by a guard, I try to follow and stomp my fragmented shield so the player being attacked get it as well. Gives him or her additional defensive aid for a fighting chance to escape. It's actually kinda fun attacking the guard with another high level CP player involved. Like when I saw a 501 CP getting attacked. I mean, that 501 CP was lasting, with all his defensive abilities flaring off. I decided, why not, since I'm also a bit higher CP and decided to attack that guard as well. It was a fun fight until other guards noticed and joined in. I had to run then. Lol! I don't get a bounty, though, for assisting the player with the fragmented shield.

Except when they've been fleeing for so long and the guard does that 1 hit KO, or they use the crossbow skill if you keep tricking them around a tree or something so they can't reach you, bloody OP

EDIT: I spent like 5 minutes once in grahtwood going under and over a bridge and placing trap beast on it every so often and they just ended up 360 crossbow no scoping me through a solid wall

Debating does not necessarily lead to excessive bickering. I really feel censored for having my post removed whilst at the same time it had none of the above mentioned (insulting, baiting, rudeness? Nope, just discussing and even suggesting). Alas, if it did, I would also get a warning, right? Too bad, forum moderation seems way off sometimes, according to community rules always.

Many people (myself included) find it annoying seeing all sorts of flashy particle effects and lights when we're just trying to access the banker, it's a bit distracting.

I heal people fleeing guards all the time and I've never gotten aggro or bounty for it. I started doing it after someone healed me and got no aggro or bounty for it.

I don't know what the setting is that makes it this way, but I certainly enjoy healing criminals. Now I just wish more people would heal my fleeing NB, who's ALWAYS in trouble.

I will have to try this tonight to be sure, but I have always healed (and cast Retreating Maneuver on) players fighting guards...I assume they got caught stealing an alchemy bottle while turning in writs like I always do.

And I have had "attack innocents" off since Thieves Guild turned me into a Serial Killer (shoulda just let me pick that pocket, buddy). I don't think I've ever gotten dragged into the actual fight, regardless.
