Have they started to allow PC account copy to console?
When it was released on console I missed the opportunity and decided it wasn't worth it to start anew. Have they since added it as an option to help them generate more revenue and rekindle a fire for those of us who left the game a couple years ago?

pecheckler✭✭✭✭✭I bet it hasn't happened due to some sort of agreement with Sony and Microsoft or some other parties because Zenimax would clearly make a lot of money with little investment if account transfers were offered. Plenty of folks want to switch in both directions.
I paid the $20 to transfer me account to PS4 when it was available. Oh boy do I regret that decision...End the tedious inventory management game.0 -

Stay with PC...I hear there is nothing but problems on the consoles...just read the forum posts.
Full discolsure: I play on PC and only have read about the issues on the console, so I have no first hand experience...perhaps someone who plays the console can shed light on how frustrating it can be to play on the consoles.0 -

I can confirm. DO NOT leave PC unless you're on Xbox one and ZOS actually resolves ESO plus issues and confirms they will update the game as well as the graphics for the Xbox Scorpio.
Those are a lot of ifs but you may as well buy ESO Gold edition if you want to go play on console-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

No, the forums are private boards run by the host company according to their rules. If you don't like their rules, you're perfectly free to use other forums.0 -

Console was fine up until the Dark Brotherhood. There have been a bunch of problems since then. Once those are sorted out it should be fine again.
The PC has add ons, text chat and, depending on your rig, slightly better graphics.
Console has native voice chat and, until the last month, many fewer bugs. This is admittedly a low point but overall console has been very strong pre DB.0 -

Many reasons.
- Friends, as you mentioned
- Money
- No inclination to consistently upgrade your hardware
- Controller vs Keyboard
- Living room experience
Mostly it comes down to money. I know that everything can be replicated on a PC by buying the compatible hardware, but if you've already shelled out the money for a console not everyone wants to double down on the investment and upkeep of a PC. To each their own, but as a console player who used to play on PC, I much prefer console.
Also, I like the even playing field. The only "add-ons" we have are the ones that ZOS gave us. I prefer it that way.
