Possible Solution to Racial passive balancing: Faction boons

I think this could really potentially create better balance for all.

Each faction would have 2 small passive bonuses that you'd gain access to based on your race's native faction (eg. Nords, Dunmer, and Argonians would only have access to these).
And you'd also get access to 2 more small bonuses based on whichever faction you actually choose to take part in.

The first two (we'll call them "NF passives" for "Native Faction") NF passives will improve on areas of weakness among the races of a faction, while the CF passives (Chosen Faction)
will be more geared towards enhancing the strengths of a faction.

For example:

EP NF Passives:

+6% Stam Recovery
+4% Spell Critical

EP CF Passives
+6% Healing Done
+4% Max Stamina

DC NF Passives
+4% Weapons Critical
+6% Magic Recovery

DC CF Passives
+2% to all elemental damage
+5% Poison Resistance

AD NF Passives
+6% Health recovery
+5% Critical Resistance

AD CF Passives
+3% to Shock and Disease damage
+2% Critical Damage Modifier

These might not all be 100% ideal, as I mostly play on EP and have little experience with the other 2 factions, but I think this could help with both balance and build diversity.

Imperials would get a unique NF passive Btw.

Any thoughts, insights, or improvements?

Not sure if I understand completely. So lets say I play a Dunmer on DC side. Then compared to how it is at the moment I would get +4% Spell Crit, +6% stam reg, +2% ele damage and +5% poison resist?

If that's how you want it to work, I don't see how it would help balancing races. You are basicly buffing the 2 strongest races (Dunmer and Redguard) the most, while those races who could deserve a buff (Bosmer, Breton, Nord, Argonian) don't get a noticable buff.

Additionally I'm not a fan of adding bonuses based on the alliance in which you play. We all know that there will be always one bonus that is better than others and if your alliance decides weather you have this bonus or not, it would probably cause a lot of hate in pvp.

A Bosmer could play for EP though and get max Stamina and weapons critical in addition to magic regen and healing done.

Bretons could play for AD and get magic recovery increased shock damage and bonus critical damage

Nords could stay in EP and get Max stam and stam recovery

Argonians would be best in show healers by staying in EP

Being able to play a race outside its faction is a boon itself. Don't need passives that make those unable to play races outside their factions complain because they do not have access.

Perhaps. 'I mean they would get the passives as if they'd chosen it. Maybe just native faction passives would be ideal.
