Magicka Based Sorcerer advice

So... I truly want to run a Magicka based sorcerer, but do not want to run AD (again).
My question is:
1) How do you RP an Altmer Sorcerer if you want to run EP or DC?
2) It seems like Dunmers aren't really very Magicka based (although I would like to run one - never have). It seems like theirs is all stamina a dual wield.
3) Bretons are fine, but, they're so bland. I find it very difficult to create a male Breton who doesn't look like a tool.
Thoughts?

✭✭✭✭You can RP, and chose a "native" race, or RP and choose a non-native that's a defector, or you can choose the best race for what you want to do.
Breton sorcs are fine. Not ideal, but functional.0 -

✭Dunmers aren't good at magicka?!? What! Seriously, you may want to research House Telvanni of Morrowind before you make such ridiculous claims in the future. Go Dunmer, focus on fire and lightning - there ya go.

They are good with magicka as far as I know, lore-wise, but, in ESO, they aren't the strongest and have most of their passives in stamina and dual-wield. I don't know why. Of course, lore-wise they are incredible.
Of course, lore-wise, Imperials are good with magicka too (read battle-mages), but, in ESO, they are tanks.
I guess I'll be going with Altmer in EP and DC. Oh well..0 -

But there are no fire spells to start off with, only a fire staff, so their affinity is pointless unless playing a DK. Even later on fire isn't that big of a thing.0 -

You are simply a scion of that family that has decided to stray out of the island and make a name for himself.
