I need help with race and class that I chose

I'm new to this game and I just made a altmer templar. I thought that self healing would be quite useful in general and so I thought why not choose altmer because altmer mostly use magic (if I'm wrong then please correct me)
Btw I'm on lvl 16 and please tell me if it's worth playing as a altmer templar.

Nothing wrong with an altmer magicka templar. Max magica + recovery is nice

To me, there's no fun in playing a character you're not fond of. My templar healer is an Imperial. My magicka NB is a redguard.

So far I like it but I'm kinda scared that it will be hard later on like my first character (bad choice i made)

Personally I'd choose argonian, with the incoming racial changes they're a good choice because you could respec into dps/tank/healer if you ever wanted to

Not saying you couldn't do it with Altmer, they'd make a better dps while the argonian would make a better healer and tank. Preference I guess,

The holy trinity of MMOs! These are the roles a player character usually plays in a group or raid:

DPS = damage per second. damage dealer
tank = the one who's taking damage from the mobs
healer = trying to keep the party, but mostly the tank alive

There used to be a 4th role, crowd control, but in modern games it is shared among most classes.

I personally find Templar the most fun class to play

Mine are Breton, but Altmer is really good for magicka. I just went with Breton because I prefer the way that they look
