Simple FG question

Quick and dumb question.

I leveled fighters guild to 7 1/2 in the sewers just killing undead.

I did the first FG mission and got no xp towards fighters guild. If I do more of the missions will that level the FG line? Or is it only from killing undead? Want to get it to 10 for dawnbreaker like everyone else. Any help is appreciated.

Ironically, the FG, and for that matter, the MG quests do not give any Guild Reputation (what Guild Experience is really called behind the scenes). And, a lot of the FG quests don't have undead or daedra to fight, they have Dwemer.

So, yes, grind on Undead to raise the skill. You only have about 3500 more mobs to kill to max the guild. That is a bit more than you have killed so far in case you were wondering.

Only killing undead and daedra increases your FG level.

Here is what really sucks... if you're over-leveled for the zone, you don't get ANY FG increase for completing a dark anchor. I can understand not getting XP for killing enemies, but they should still give you FG points for completing the anchor regardless of level... they give XP for completion, but NO Fighters Guild line advancement. This is one reason I'll be glad for One Tamriel's launch... no more 'over-leveled'.
